just want to ask, if i update my stock firmware via KIES, then the phone will be clean n empty like after pressing factory reset?

nope.. I just usually backup using kies then after updated it will be same as before.

G-version latest should be KJ2 base on Samsung Kies ..

thats mean the update will not effect other files/contact/msg etc? same like installing apps?

nope, when you update, kies will ask you if you want to backup just backup everything and update.

I think kies cannot detect custom rom. You must be on stock rom to use kies.

lol... nolar... the point why i posted earlier was to share and note that DIGI no longer provide a good deal for sgs2. previously, they had a good deal/ option... at least could do 12mths, etc...

even just buying the phone... digi's price is rm1799. might as well buy from SEP and get 2yrs warranty. smile.gif

Since i flash custom rom or even rooted never use kies already
may be kies couldnot recognize our custom rom as device kot
