Its called new rom syndrom. LOL. You just flash new rom so your playing more with the phone and the batt drop faster. tongue.gif

I can't really recommend accurate way to calibrate the battery because our battery fuel gauge is different. Just try what is stated in this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...light=calibrate

My checkrom 2.0 on Siyah 2.1.1, task killer frozen, flight mode, nothing on

1% drained in 2 hours...on my checkrom1.0 I could go 6 hours in flight mode in 1%.

I have no idea why my battery life is so much worse than last time.

And I just leave the phone in standby for like 16hours to see the drain, Used my N97 in the mean time.

Thinking it might be ROM related and not kernel as I never had this problem in checkROM 1.0...

Any suggestions on what could be draining it faster? I have no apps that update using internet like facebook. Maps is also frozen.

after the first step
on few cycle of charging and discharging do we need to wait for the battery to completely drain first then only charge?
after charge take out the battery wait for 90 second again?

I have never try this before but this method seems to attract alot of attention and people's feedback seems positive. I normally just let my battery be.

I find siyah 2.1.1 drain batt also. I actually switch back to 2.1 final. Now I am actually on 2.1 beta 16 with all optimization turn off. Wanna test batt on this version cos i like its speed. Remember latest is not always the best.

What do you mean by optimisations? I am planning on reverting to my 2.1b13 because that was how I got the 6 hours on 1%

Does the 2.1b16 have same battery life as the b13 but with better performance?

I didn't UV on my b13, but on my 2.1.1 with UV battery life is even worse than my b13!!!

Hey i got the same experience with beta 13, the best battery life. Beta 16 life was too short cos RC1 came too fast so i got no time to test it. Have reverted back to this version and testing now.

Beta 16 is the version Gokhan turn off all compiler optimization.

I do not use touchwiz. I am not sure if you can sort it with stock TW but I think it was possible with TW 4.5. Need someone that is using TW to confirm.
