QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Oct 31 2011, 01:42 PM) TalonMTD is not my kernel This Thunderbolt (will kena sued by Apple or not? It's not compatible with the latest MIUI, hence don't use it if you're using the latest MIUI. I like the libsqlite improvement. Hope my WhatsApp can be no lag anymore. |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 3 2011, 05:34 PM) As per my siggy. Haven't try Thunderbolt yet.Dunno if my defunct (without voice/video call function) Talk application helps on the battery usage, hehe. I'm still facing problem of my auto brightness being disabled by itself randomly. I thought new ROM fixes that. |

QUOTE(isaaclimhw @ Nov 4 2011, 11:56 AM) Wait for your report to see if any corruption on your WhatsApp messages. Added on November 4, 2011, 12:14 pm QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 4 2011, 11:30 AM) You can choose not to use the patched libsqlite. Even without the patched libsqlite, the improvement is clearly noticeable. He applied all 3! lolLet me savour my good battery life right now for a full week then I flash Thunderbolt! This post has been edited by Harddisk: Nov 4 2011, 12:14 PM |

QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 4 2011, 12:57 PM) If you periodically backup using the Titanium Backup schedule, even if it is corrupted, you can restore it easily Itu loh, I didn't. if the sqlite patch won't cause corruption, I don't mind to go ahead. Just to be safe now. Added on November 4, 2011, 2:43 pm QUOTE(sasoji @ Nov 4 2011, 02:40 PM) i flash to xxjvt available here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289875 and checked my csc and it's XME but when i activate data network mode i cant go on net....anything wrong?? I still haven't found the Gremlin that causes my Automatic Brightness setting to off by itself even on XXJVT.
Anyone found anything on this? |

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 11:36 AM) Those who are interested to flash to 2.3.5 xxjvt please do so only maybe just for fun. I've flashed it yesterday but it was buggy. I only realized the wifi connection which kept dropping and the market was exorbitantly slow. Scrolling wasn't smooth as claimed. A little jerky I could say. I didn't manage to test other settings as I hated the drop in wifi connection (wifi sleep policy to wifi never turn off). In the end, I flashed back to official Malaysia 2.3.3. No problems. Never faced the problem you are facing. Maybe your wifi ap was far away from your phone? Cause mine quite close to me, maybe that's why never drop connection. So far, I am most satisfied with XXJVT. Good battery life also, especially running on mobile data. |

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 01:11 PM) Used PIT512 to flash. Change the lease time on your wifi ap setting to 24 hours, or if you use any IP address assignment based no mac address (like I did), remove it. Too bad, but at least it works. Just live with it.I was next to my wifi point all night but still dropped wifi connection. No point to set static IP as it would be a hassle to always need to 'un-static IP' my phone everytime I need to connect to other wifi networks. My wifi router is 24/7. Added on November 17, 2011, 3:21 pm QUOTE(Ivan113 @ Nov 17 2011, 01:21 PM) thanks for the reply!! Now I'm scare that if I follow your method, later got wifi problem The 2 CSC files, the smaller one will do, as I read in XDA, the bigger files come with the notification/ringtones.maybe I should replace it with Home-Multi? But on a sidenote, the small one doesn't have XME (for Malaysia), so you have to set your own APN after you are done flashing. Not sure about the bigger file though, anyone can comment?
