nevermind..i'll try it tonight

i mean dont set the Screen TimeOut to "Off".

it'll never turn off by itself unless you press the power off button.

i dont have android os bug/prob..only android system - 6%...which MIUI do u use?

user posted image
try to install watchdog & cpu spy to detect what app that may trigger ur android os..
try this method if anyone still got battery issue with MIUI..let the phone calibrate itself for 3-4 days..
i start from 100% battery today at 8am...wifi at home untill 11am..data E from 11-6pm..(check-in foursquare 5 times, google map and sygic aura for 15mins, 5-6 fb and twitter post) then wifi again until now..6-7 calls (5-10min each), 25-30 sms, 1hour+ google chat, skype video call for 1/2 hour...gmail, hotmail, friendcaster, tweetdeck, and feed all set to push notification..battery now @fter midnight still 30% left...so far so good for me flex.gif
*
now my battery left 31% only... sad.gif

Stock Sammy ICS ROM maybe incoming

Luke Lee, senior mobile manager for Samsung, told us that "with the Galaxy S, it's something that we [Samsung] could still be considering."

if i delete both Internet and keep 2 mms, then enable data packet, then i can still receive mms without the risk to use mobile data??

then there's this feature Always Receive MMS in MIUI:

@RoxyMunky

Yes, you're right. No need to edit APN for miui roms as there's an extra feature as stated by you.

Isnt MiUi a lovely rom... biggrin.gif

You would need to go to recovery mode (Up, Home, Power when powered off), then install from sdcard, select the zip file and then reboot. Just download the latest. 0.5.2.5. It's really stable for me.
Yes it is. If you see something you don't understand, just post it here, I'll answer the best that I can. smile.gif

Any figures to show how much improvement on your custom tweak??

Feels gatal to triy it out... laugh.gif

Yup, that's true. 3G calling is still a proprietary module in Samsung's phone.
No figures yet, but you can look at the last few posts in my thread. It is really smoother and crazily battery saving. smile.gif
*
battery saving is more than enough for me to try it out~ drool.gif

tonight check your thread thoroughly and give it a hit~ laugh.gif

its applicable to MIUI right??

If you get stuck on boot, go to recovery and flash the restore pack, then delete the screenstate_scaling before reflashing.
