To be honest, iOS does provide a good overall user experience. From the web browsing to picture viewing. I do really likes it... Btw im referring to iPad2.

The only thing i dont like is the controlled ecoSystem in managing media files on iOS. Also, the homescreen customization is not available in iOS... laugh.gif

yup, agree, loving stock ROM very much, just a couple of phone.process forced close, maybe coz i always close it in a hurry by spamming the button, but it's still rare to have a force close on stock ROM, since I bought sgs for around 1 months plus, only had force close around 4 times

btw, want iphone look? go to market and search for Espier Launcher, there you go, 50% of the iOS interface is in your hand

It comes with MintBolt!, not ThunderBolt!.

If you want to use ThunderBolt!, remove all init.d scripts, then flash ThunderBolt! manually. If you face a hang at boot, try to ask the MintBerry forums for help. Not sure what was changed that makes it hang :/

Phew... Luckily i checked with u first.

Then i better skip it and stick to my current Galnet Miui... laugh.gif

I just wish to stick to Stock ROM.
But, seems like everyone is switching to ICS.
There are too many reminders in my phone. I can lost the information.
That's why till now I don't dare to root this phone.

Any Comment on this?

just sync your calendar events to gmail.

flash to new ROM, then sync it back down from Google.

anyone tried flash alternative kernel into Galnet Miui which comes default with pawitp kernel??

wondering if change the kernel, it would provide a better user experience in terms of response time and low memory issue.

thanks!!

I was actually still asking should I go for the stock ROM XXJVU?
Or should I root and use a Custom ROM?

Sorry... sweat.gif
