QUOTE(Fries @ Nov 17 2011, 05:01 PM) bike accident. skidded and rolled on the road. phone came out of pocket, only to be picked up later around 2-3 minutes after accident. maybe rolled over by vehicles, don't realize at first. omg!!! I feel bad for you! are you alright?! hope you are not injured, I got myself into a car accident half year ago too, not injured, but almost died, I think there is no way to backup a totally crushed phone i guess |

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Nov 17 2011, 10:26 PM) Reflashed to xxjvt with csc home whatever. just flashed everything with Home-Multi CSC, everything works perfectly for now, even wifi is is stronger than ever! but havent check yet other few minor stuff like alarm clock or etc etcThought would fix the wifi drop issue but still remained the same. It will drop wifi and connect to 3G and then reconnect to wifi. Googled it and seems that there are a lot of people suffering the same. and to flash custom kernel, simply just download that kernel, put at PDA slot, and flash it, right? no need check repartition right? |

edit: ok la, i decided to flash semaphore 1st, before I flash, want to confirm with u guys again 1st 1. open Odin 2. put Semaphore file which is the zImage into PDA 3. make sure repartition is uncheck 4. turn off your phone 5. 3 button combo into download mode 6. connect usb 7. wait for odin to detect 8. click Start that's it, right? QUOTE(pikachu01 @ Nov 18 2011, 08:32 PM) It's a voodoo colour problem. Just increase the gamma in Voodoo Control app to 0,0,0. It'll be normal afterwards. Flashing bm or non bm version doesn't matter BM means bigmem that offers 13MB more usable RAM at the expense of 720p video recording. omg! I thought I did something wrong while flashing or what, THANK YOU VERY MUCH PIKACHU!!!! You should actually. edit: and sooner or later, I will try ThunderBolt too!! it's just that I just bought SGS, have to slow slow modified, if 1st day I bought SGS then change to A custom ROM, B kernel, C Tweaking, then sure confuse This post has been edited by Ivan113: Nov 18 2011, 08:44 PM |

what is the difference between hardware acceleration and non hardware acceleration? afaik if hardware accelerate is enabled, gpu will handle most of the process, or something like that
