Actually what is the different between sword of star, galactic civilization, sin of solar empire? anyone can tell more detail? I dunno should get which one?

different take on 4x... best if you get all thats what im planning.. i love those kind of games..

still playing SE:5 , hope they will have SE:6 with improved engine.. hate each turn taking 30 mins...

eh guys, yr steam can connect instantly? i been having problem where when i open my steam it will just show "connecting steam account" and then the program stop responding. any other method to fix this?

They're all different takes on the 4X genre.

Galactic Civilization is the classical take of 4X games in space. It plays almost exactly like Civilizations, with you conquering the galaxy through any means necessary. The best part of the game has to be the ship designer feature. The AI here is very intelligent and curbstomp you if you're not careful.

Sword of the Stars can be best considered a hybrid 4X/RTS game. The empire management are rather simplified compared to other 4Xs, but it makes up for it by the different races that it offers (each races play very differently) as well as real-time tactical battles. The tech tree is also randomised each time you play, giving you a different experience each time.

I haven't played Sins of the Solar Empire, but I heard it is SotS-like in both management and tactical battles, except with a smaller scale and bigger fleets. Apparently also balanced better, but I wouldn't know about that.

Hey guys, I got NWN2 for a few years already..but now the disc I think rosak liao..cant install properly. I tried to activate the cd key on steam but found steam doesnt support that game..any idea what I can do to install this game ? the game came with the graphic card i bought few years back.
