Its not the tax. Its the retail stores. They don't want to be killed by competition so they threatened the publishers to jack up the price when it comes to digital download in order for them to be able to sell physical copies.

I rarely buy games directly from steam as i am getting games from various places now. Its cheaper.

if ya worry bout on9 banking, do the safe way.
1. get KIS 2012
2. create a SAFE shortcut to one of ur browser from KIS
3. Use virtual KB
4. Delete your cache and cookies after u completed your banking
5. Ur password should be as complicated as possible. eg. WtFheyyO885964
6. change your password every once a month at least.
7. if the above still cant assure you, get a 2nd bank acc which is normally dormant or min savings inside so that you can use it whenever you want, and minimize your losses if sh1t happen.
