OKAY I AM BUYING BASTION.
BEEN WAITING FOR IT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME. Last week, i got BF3 and Renegade Ops. This week, Bastion. Next week, Skyrim. Then, NFS The Run and Saints Row 3. Good thing im gonna be on summer break soon. The strange thing is, i find Renegade Ops >>>>>> Battlefield 3. So, Bastion > Skyrim? This post has been edited by Cheesenium: Nov 2 2011, 09:40 AM |

QUOTE(talexeh @ Nov 2 2011, 09:40 AM) I seriously hope you'll enjoy Bastion as much as I do. Can't wait to read your reviews / opinions about it. I played the demo a few times because i just cant get enough of it. Mainly because the soundtrack and narrator that made the game very interesting to play. The combat is a bit iffy, but i think i can ignore it."The Kid rages around" To be honest, all these 10USD games have been far awesome than most 60USD games. I am spending more time playing Renegade Ops than Battlefield 3 cause it feels very nostalgic as i loved top down shooters when i was youngl. Its difficult, but yet its very compelling to play and have the charm of Just Cause 2. |

QUOTE(kianweic @ Nov 2 2011, 10:46 AM) Same, I use an Xbox 360 controller to play it. Why?I have to change the settings of my Asus Xonar D2x card each time I want to play Renegade Ops. QUOTE(noobfc @ Nov 2 2011, 10:47 AM) Its more like procrastination in buying the game where i just delay it for no reason.QUOTE(kianweic @ Nov 2 2011, 10:49 AM) I bought the soundtrack after listening to it in their site. Its awesome.It comes in 320kbps, so its not some shitty file format. |

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Nov 3 2011, 01:12 PM) btw, about those cd-key supplier. It's best to avoid them. +1You might get your game activated now, but you won't know how long they will last until Blizzard found out and started to ban your bnet account (instead of the game itself) It actually happens to some folks who tried to buy BC2 and their account got banned around 3-5 months after. Worst case is the seller won't even bother to help and refund and yet their sites still selling like hot cakes. I still suggest you wait for the sales even thou it might not happen anyway. Get retail copies or get from legit digital distros. Avoid CD keys site despite how tempting they are. |

QUOTE(kianweic @ Nov 8 2011, 11:20 PM) Pretty unreliable as 2 of the writers did not really have any past experience with CoD.Kotaku's Gut Check has pretty much been a Yes for any major release. |

QUOTE(-Torrz @ Nov 17 2011, 01:55 PM) if a publisher wants to jack up the price that high for a god damn digital download game, it's not worth buying it. no doubt its stupid.LA Noire $50 -> $90 Assassin's Creed Series (AC2 $20 -> $30, AC:B $40 -> $70, Rev. $50 -> $80) Batman AC $50 -> $100 LotR WitN $50 -> $74 I rarely buy games directly from steam as i am getting games from various places now. Its cheaper. |

QUOTE(RcykZai @ Nov 24 2011, 07:42 PM) Ohhhh shyt! More games to look for, alrdy blind when browsing steam, lol The demo is on Steam if im not wrong.Btw, Hard Reset seems nice, anyone play it before? To be honest, i didnt like the game at all. Its just generic corridor shooting while it doesnt feel like old school shooter to me at all. The movement feels slow. The weapon switch is slow too, where if you switch weapons, you are on the risk of getting killed. The story has nothing to write home about as its just very very boring, more so than those military shooters. Do note that is just my experience based on the demo, its extremely underwhelming. |
