QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Feb 22 2012, 09:19 AM) Review said iphone 4S and HTC Titan pawn Lumia 800 camera i see.. And the Winner Is? So how does the Lumia 800 fare against the excellent HTC Titan? Although the Titan did struggle slightly with some of the 'Barbie' test shots, on the whole, HTC's outsized handset still has a better camera than the other three smartphones cited above. So while all of these mobiles actually have very good cameras, with all criteria taken into account, we'd place the HTC Titan and the Apple iPhone 4S just ahead of the Xperia Ray and the Lumia 800, which offer similar levels of quality. Note that the Lumia 800 and the Xperia Ray both have wider-angle lenses than Apple's iPhone 4S. http://www.digitalversus.com/nokia-lumia-8...red-n21932.html btw... how you shot all those photo.. its so stunning.... |

QUOTE(HexPhoenix @ Feb 28 2012, 01:55 PM) if + haptic feedback vibrate, lumia 800 qwerty is a godsend to me. even without it, i love lumia 800 very much compared to n9 and symbian. i have no problem connecting to my mobile hotspot from my android phone....although n9 qwerty is good enough, lumia 800 is even better. one problem.... i can detect and connect wifi signals that transmit through routers / access points, but not tethered devices (e.g, iphone 4, N9). Why? isit can detect wifi through mobile network to avoid massive data usage through mobile networks? |

QUOTE(lipfung @ Mar 13 2012, 09:20 PM) Interested to know how is the battery life after the new firmware update. 3hours since last charge... still got 94% battery left... with wifi and data on all the time... good??I notice the battery drains heavily only when data connection or wifi on. Erm, what is the purpose of smartphone if both mobile data and wifi off all the time. Anybody notices the phone auto-lock while idle running nokia map? |

QUOTE(Vyriix @ Mar 14 2012, 10:29 AM) p/s: using india new firmware 1600.2487.8107.12070 and the battery is outstandingly lasting with EDGE mode. 3G is still sucking every battery charge out there. Recommend to use 3G when you really need and turn EDGE on when you let it sync in your pocket, idling. On edge with few hours of calling and wifi usage, battery can last over 25 hours. p/p/s: there seems to be a new bug right now with the new firmware. Over time, the wifi stops detecting wifi signals at all randomly, and would need a phone restart. anyone facing such new problems with new firmware? |
