Haha I wonder can I set it to US and still be able to download Malaysia maps but I think can right? Since US will have more apps available compare to Singapore... but what's the downsides of setting it to US or even Singapore?

i was using US marketplace can download the map, din try purchase app with CC at all so duno workable or not

You need to be specific on what problem are you facing. Is this just whatsapp and people hub on 3G? Or browsing too?

If you'd touched network setup app then you have to do a hard reset. Especially if you are using digi. It has been discussed some a month ago.

your windows live id is region locked. Check windowsphone.com Under account settings for credit card

So if i didnt use Credit card, then it will cause no problem to convert to US and I can convert back to any country anytime?

Hi i just bought a brand new nokia lumia 800 and im currently using hotlink prepaid. the problem is that i cannot surf the internet nor send and receive mms. i already subscribed the weekly internet plan but cant use it. internet can only be access by using wifi now. i thought this smartphone already has its own internet configuration? so can anyone help me with this?

the region lock is apply on ur hotmail/window live id, so if u want change region, u gotta hard reset ur phone

first check the weekly internet plan is mobile internet or prepaid broadband?

if prepaid broadband it wont work on the phone. I am using maxis no such issue. If still faill go to market place download network setup and run it
