when you need recommendation of pc, you may ask from different sales man as comparison. some may have experience and some are new staff. dont aspect them to know everything but of course, again, dont bargain on something which only have profit to the goods about
rm2 or 3. if you wan electronics stuff(power adapter,converter,plug,screwdriver), its better to go to jalan pasar(pudu) as lowyat basically sell computer stuff cheaper.
there are up and down for the pricing as sometimes the supplier give different price to the shop,so if you are lucky in the cheaper shop,grab the stuff! PC fair,lazy to go... KLCC=jam.
Thank you for pointing out the slim margin from selling computer parts.Ur kind opinion hopefully could help a bit for all the LYP's shop .
It is good to have people as new working in a computer shop and expose to the public the running of the business with a tight margin and yet bargainning crazily from the buyers.This does not meant that buyer has no right to make a bargain.It is just depend on what items ur are looking for.
I would like to give ur a scenario outcome resulted from the stiff competition.Let say here Lcd monitor as an instance.
Let say 6 shops selling 17"Lcd Monitor at RM 485.00 (The reseller cost is RM 475.00 with package commited).5 of the 6 shops practise selling price at RM 485.00.Suddenly the inactive shop (The one with poor sales) throws price at RM 480.00 or RM 475.00 at cost to clear off the stock.
Okay, come to this point.If you are a buyer who bought the price at RM 485.00,suddenly u see other shop sells at RM 475.00, what do you feel ?
Who should blaim for ? Ironically, the one who bought at RM 475.00 will pour many negative on the shop he/she used to buy.What happened at the end ? This particular buyer for sure will go to the shop who offers lowest price and no more return to the shop he/she used to buy.
This is facing by many of resellers until today at LYP.Hence,forummers, ur got any good suggestion for this kind of situation.I am willing to learn.
