That kind of salary is not for newbie but more suitable with 4/5 years onward working experince.Or the return of his / her work whether worth that amount to the company productivity point of view. rolleyes.gif

A salesman basically should be depend more on commission.It is not wise to pay so high a salary for a salesman.Human tend to become lazy if no aim or objective to achieve higher goal. This will only make him/her think like working 9am-5pm daily and dun need to work so hard or perform so hard. sweat.gif

Think twice.Majority human tend not to appreciate with the existing they have. nod.gif

Well, newbie to the sales will think they are more superior if their company having more customers and the most customer all time.They are still fresh mar.U can't blaim for their immature thinking.This is part of the life experience before u become better and better as a person to see a thing and view it positively.

Not always right.If I were mainly a salesman, I have the responsibility of carrying out my duty acording to my style and abilitly.

Knowledge is power.Gain as much as u can while u are working at any place u are working for.This is because u represent not only the company but most importantly ,u urself is the customer focus each time any new or old customer walk-in and be entertained by u.Hence,ur self image is so important that u might employed by a MNC company or any other company u think can fulfill ur performance and salary requirement.

Before blaim to the company, blaim urself first.And please be more considerate of a company that already in this computer industry for nearly 2 decade and they are still doing well wihout any changes.If a boss wanna achieve greater heights, sure he/she will put more efford to make it happen.But who knows if given by current situation ,the controlling is out beyond their control.Conclusion is FOCUS is not there ,my freind. smile.gif

Did u know why so ? Let pointed some here.This links to our market in LYP.The situation here is fiercely in terms of pricing.Let say, Monitor LCD 19",at the cost of RM 737.00 , they sell at RM 739.00 .With that RM 2.00 enough for a company survival ? Definately nope.Then, dun think about commission lor.
(The situation even worst when they have to kill their rebate which suppose to be their business main profit margin )
Therefore, any newbie can be a salesman at LYP .Some shop like them basically just need ur hand to do some job.As for the price, refer to the pricelist and fixed with no more bargain .Unless a good salesman take initiative and discuss with their top managment.

Perceive from the above, that's the main reason why u called some of them "Ah beng" . sweat.gif nod.gif

Thank you for pointing out the slim margin from selling computer parts.Ur kind opinion hopefully could help a bit for all the LYP's shop .
It is good to have people as new working in a computer shop and expose to the public the running of the business with a tight margin and yet bargainning crazily from the buyers.This does not meant that buyer has no right to make a bargain.It is just depend on what items ur are looking for.

I would like to give ur a scenario outcome resulted from the stiff competition.Let say here Lcd monitor as an instance.

Let say 6 shops selling 17"Lcd Monitor at RM 485.00 (The reseller cost is RM 475.00 with package commited).5 of the 6 shops practise selling price at RM 485.00.Suddenly the inactive shop (The one with poor sales) throws price at RM 480.00 or RM 475.00 at cost to clear off the stock.

Okay, come to this point.If you are a buyer who bought the price at RM 485.00,suddenly u see other shop sells at RM 475.00, what do you feel ?
Who should blaim for ? Ironically, the one who bought at RM 475.00 will pour many negative on the shop he/she used to buy.What happened at the end ? This particular buyer for sure will go to the shop who offers lowest price and no more return to the shop he/she used to buy. sweat.gif

This is facing by many of resellers until today at LYP.Hence,forummers, ur got any good suggestion for this kind of situation.I am willing to learn. notworthy.gif

However, it depends on certain circumstances too such as local distro selling to a project either to corporate or government. It is a coincedence such project is involving Dell system.
Hence, the extra stocking might flooded to many computer resellers.

But no all dealers can get it ler.The availability of the allocation for sure is limited.Sound logical ? smile.gif

What I strongly feel that LYN play important role to its forummers.
As long as you are LYN's forummer,you will know and get warn by other members in this forum.
Sometimes,forum will help forummers to make a wise buying decision.
Of course not as to compare to millions innocent buyers that are not yet at the right time come to buy their own Pc.

Sorry to hear about that.Understand ur situation.But this happens to most of the shop.Be it LYP or outside LYP.
Hope ur forummers aware,today not easy to find one good qualitysalesman.Although u might get one but still not easy to maintain them. smile.gif

-Some salesmans lack of knowledge and might just new ah.
-Some salesmans are stagnant (not more improvement etc )

Also by looking at today slim margin of retailing plus many competitiors ,hard for salesman to work and maintain in this line.No matter how good a management from a company also can't help much.When one joined this line,they have to accept fate of this industry.

All my advise is they have to equip themselve with as much knowledge and experience as possible for them to be abled to make more sales and earn extra income personally.Whoever can go through it ,will gain a success .But how many of them know the objective of learning more ? sweat.gif

That's the reason why I prefer to employ an experienced sales staff compare to new employee.The chances of getting problems of such perhaps will be minimised at ease.And not at the one apple degrade the whole basket.
