QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 4 2012, 10:47 AM) i dun think so... clutch slip is ur rpm goes up but the car not moving.... clutch wan to finish signs is when u lepas almost habis the clutch the car still not move = slip too Wonder what is the culprit...i notice mostly the jerk occur on 3rd gear, between 40-60kmph...at other gear, the jerk is not that noticeable...but it happen quite random...could it be my spark plug dead on me again?... Last weekend i send my car for a tb service, but the mech change the spark plug cable to bosch supersport...could that cable cause my normal spark plug to degrade faster?...normal spark plug lifespan is 10k km right?...i hav driven 5k km up till today... QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 4 2012, 03:43 PM) Standalone ecu is not simple as normal shop can do, u need dyno, wideband and good knowledge. Better use stock 1st until u have better knowledge about the stuff so u can learn along the way. The LED i tested edi no nice coz not even light.... Added on July 4, 2012, 3:44 pmIs it misfiring jerk what u experienced? Bro, mind to explain what misfiring jerk like?... Added on July 5, 2012, 10:15 amGuys, i plan to get Bosch Super 4 spark plug...I'm driving Wira 1.3 VDO Injection Manual 2002... Which model should i use?...FR78 or WR78 or WR78X?... QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 6 2012, 09:51 AM) plug spoil i think either u bought immitation plugs or something wrong with AFR or there is cylinder oil leak. Usually i'll let the mech repair and use their item... If cylinder oil leak, could it be piston ring?... Anyone got experience with fake/recycle engine oil?...will fake/recycle oil cause engine oil to decrease?? Is it better to buy engine oil from petrol station?

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 6 2012, 11:45 AM) fake engine oil kill ur car engine soon because of low oil viscosity and poor lubrication. Inhibit agent is more than lube agent in the fake oil. Always remember dont be penny wise pound foolish. Understand ur car well dont trust anyone Agree with you bro... I notice the engine oil from my mech shop will decrease till almost min after 3k++ km driving...But when i top it up with the same engine oil i purchase from petrol station, the engine oil level can maintain even after 1k++ km driving...i wonder if my mech is using fake oil or the one i bought from petrol station is fake... price wise both are the same...

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 15 2012, 01:13 AM) night time cold so higher oxygen density + less heat = better combustion = better power during daytime even CAI wont improve much on slow speed or traffic jam. Anything can be done to improve the acceleration during day time?...As there is around 8 traffic light on my way to work everyday...

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jul 16 2012, 02:35 PM) Depends also.... some shop maybe dun wan to do.... normally they will do.... Cost normally from RM300-500 If labour is 300-500, it seems like its cheaper if i bought the parts myself than use the parts from the workshop...

QUOTE(k3v_84 @ Jul 20 2012, 04:07 PM) Mine is front tilt too, have tried so many ways d... For rear abs, u can use back your ori abs... To make rear higher can use 1.6 / waja spring... But personally I will recommend 1.6 spring coz it is harder, hence make the rear firmer, therefore higher... Waja spring might be too high and make your car swerve a lot when cornering... AnywAY, if u still not satisfied with the height of 1.6, u can still change the bush... Stock bush is 1inch... Can change to 2inch or 3inch... Bro, u driving wira 1.3 also?... Thanks for sharing your experience bro...really help alot... I'm thinking of using wira 1.3 abs + heavy duty spring for front and wira 1.6 abs + normal 1.6 spring for the rear... Do you think this setup will make the car look balance or the rear will be a little higher than the front?...hopefully it's not tilt front with this setup...
