Thanks mrchinot for the advise, I'll check that soon. As for the brake light, I opened up my hood last night and checked the brake fluid, I was shocked man. The brake fluid is already below the minimum level. And I just changed the brake fluid 3 weeks ago. Gonna bring it to a workshop & get it changed, plus check if there's any leakage or someone has been drinking my brake fluid lol.

normal idling should be around 800 to 1k with AC on
*
1k u have problem edi...

Max is 850rpm lowest is 750rpm by factory spec. Stepper motor should be at 30-70 step max and load not more than 30.

bike and car is different... different engine different setup and also different RPM target... lets say Subaru, boxer engine require 500 RPM for idle. American car, Chevy Impala, require 250 RPM for idle only.

Bikes smaller cc will have higher idle on single cylinder. 4 cylinder and V4 or certain setup s different

oh yea ka.. mine stays at max then.. lol.. later i go touch screw a bit bit
*
the best to cheat target idling is to set it slowly when engine is off... ... adjust a bit then start the car and wait n see....slow but it works where it doesnt screw up the target idling for parking the stepper motor

Dear seniors,

I've got an enquiry.. is it ok that we disconnect the thermostat of our car? (especially those carburetor Wira's)

Appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
*
for wira carb is ok it doesn't trigger the warm up mapping because u dont have any ECU. However why do you want to remove the Thermo? If you remove it, you wont have the correct cooling cycle edi... the reason the thermo was there is to limit the flow so that the water can cool down more at the radiator side before return back to the engine and maintain optimum temp for the engine and engine oil.

I thought normally adjust when engine idling is better? so can see while adjusting..
Mine is 1k by the way, with or without aircond.. thanks to FICD  laugh.gif

you cannot adjust while the car is on.... this would screw up the sensor home parking position then till the last u cant do anything then u put FICD.

FYI, FICD is not solving anything.... because it cannot compensate rev during power steering max load, fan on rpm drop load, fuel surge load and etc. basically u have lost all the functions.

you mean for every moment I start my car, it will take longer time to heat engine up?
so after the engine/ engine oil heated up, would  engine mapping turn to normal??

I removed it because of worrying the thing spoil and presumably will cause an overheating.
have you ever concerned? or heard of similar story? or just me being too over cautious hmm.gif
*
during highway ur car will be below operating temp and when traffic jam, your car cant cool enough fast from the radiator and the water edi supplied back and recirculate so it is more bad actually...

what is the current best price for e-manage blue with installation & tuning ar...?
*
I think Installation + Dyno the standard price are from RM280 - RM500

Some offer cheap on road dyno tune but make sure AFR mapping fully populate.
