Reds go globetrotting

QUOTE
United may not play again until Saturday 19 November, but more than a dozen Reds will be in action for their countries during the international break.

Nani and Darron Gibson both have crunch two-legged Euro 2012 play-off ties to negotiate. Portugal meet Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Gibson's Republic of Ireland face Estonia for a spot at next summer's tournament.

Antonio Valencia also has some serious business to attend to. He's travelled to South America to spearhead Ecuador's World Cup 2014 qualifying charge, as La Tri take on Paraguay (away) and then Peru (home).

Everybody else involved in senior internationals - Fabio (Brazil), Anders Lindegaard (Denmark), Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck (England), Javier Hernandez (Mexico) and Darren Fletcher (Scotland) - will participate in friendlies.

Of those, Fabio faces the longest trek, travelling with Brazil to Gabon in West Africa and then Qatar in the Middle East. Hernandez will return to his native Mexico to welcome a Nemanja Vidic-less Serbia (the defender recently announced his retirement from international football), Anders Lindegaard will hope for a spot between the sticks when Sweden and Finland come to Copenhagen and Darren Fletcher is expected to lead out Scotland in Cyprus.

Wayne Rooney (rested), Ashley Young  (injured) and Rio Ferdinand have been left out of Fabio Capello's England squad, so youngsters Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones are United's only representatives for the Three Lions' games against Spain and Sweden at Wembley.

Goalkeeper David De Gea won't be with Spain's senior team in London, but he will play for the Under-21 side in Euro 2013 qualifiers against Estonia and Switzerland. Fellow Reds stopper Ben Amos will also turn out at that level for England in games against Iceland and Belgium, while Joshua King (on loan at Borrusia Monchengladbach) will feature for Norway's Under-21 side against Belgium. Oliver Norwood (on loan at Scunthorpe), is also expected to receive an Under-21s call-up for Northern Ireland's qualifer against Serbia.

Sam Johnstone, Ravel Morrison, Will Keane and Larnell Cole are all on duty with England Under-19s.

PSV starlet confirms United deal

PSV Eindhoven starlet Andreas Pereira has confirmed that he is joining Manchester United, as revealed exclusively by skysports.com.

We broke the news on Saturday that United were set to clinch a deal for the 15-year-old - rated as one of the best players for his age in Europe.

The Brazilian-born Belgian youth international has accepted an offer from United, and will leave the Philips Stadion for Old Trafford in the New Year.

"I knew that PSV had given me my chance, but Manchester United is obviously a great club," he told VoetbalPrimeur.

"Other British clubs were interested. I thought about it, but Manchester United is a dream club for me.

"I have been a few times to Manchester United to have a look.

"I got a tour and spoke with Sir Alex Ferguson. Being a 15-year-old and being able to talk with him is great!"

Them on their high horse and full of themselves bragging they had a life but never misses a game even for a funeral of their pets always like to calit us United fans(all non credible to their eyes) to be obsessed with their team. laugh.gif But I guess in their world got no mirrors. They've been doing the same things always talking about United fans this lah, that lah, all clueless about footy lah while at the same time praising themselves to be the bestest of the bestest in the land about everything. Loudest fans, best home supporters, because they are not winning stuff=they're not GH but always like to taunt us with that 18-5(now only 5 left koh koh koh). A bunch of hypocrites. But once we have a chuckle at their team, their head explodes saying we're obsessed with them. laugh.gif We're rivals, so it's normal to laugh when they fall. I expect nothing else when we trip ourselves.

I guess the fact that we are in a position to have a laugh almost every week at the joke that their team has become hurt them especially since they can't have a pop at our team too much. Their only bragging rights is that they have the upper hand in terms of trophy count in the CL(up by a massive two at this point), their cup final with us which amount to a minimum of two games per season, and since they don't often end up higher than us in the league, so they take solace whenever we drop a point here and there. And when that doesn't happen, they would find a way to brand us United fans as non credible plastic only on for a ride.

1 thrashing -2 points. 4 draws -8 points. Seem to forget its god damn league. Maybe its the MU cup all over again for them tongue.gif

Since it was a draw in the first leg, they can't brag about the final yet. laugh.gif

Especially if it's a last minute penalty from a dive by Rooney and Gary Neville celebrating while commentating on the game live. That would be epic!

Respect is earned. And those red-tinted bestest fan couldn't even respect a man that has managed to awake a sleeping giant and continue win titles from time to time.

If those stupid morons can't even comprehend that, they don't earn my respect. Talk about name callings, did we ever called their managers with nicknames? Well, with the exception of FSW. But what has that FSW achieved? Istanbul? Ok, credits to him but apart from that? Zilch.
*
Rafa Benitez=Talent wrecker, team wrecker.. Liverpool and Inter(won the treble before he came) destroyed while he's in charge.
They will never praise us, ever. They will always feel they are a victim of some contentious decision in the league and us always being lucky lah, we bribe the ref lah, blabla.

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Nov 7 2011, 06:47 PM)
Well what do you expect? The one that is so keen on calling the gaffer as "The Red Nosed Scot" is after all, the person whom the rest of them worships anyway.

Let them say and call whatever they want. We have our red nosed scotsman, they have their King. At the end of the day when things doesnt go well, it isnt the red nosed one that is asked to resign at the end of the season, or change management.

That guy(sits on a high sea horse) always have a term for anything related to United.. laugh.gif

Cleverley, Ando, Young, Rafael, Smalling.. how long are they still out for?

I guess in a way, in the 70's/80's, we were like them. Always looking up, never managing to put up a sustain challenge, always falling short. They had their bragging rights, now it's out turn. Hoho. It come in cycles. At some point in the future, we will fall short, and maybe they will be top again, but in the short/medium term with the oil money clubs still around, it will be a while before they would be up there again unless they sell their ass to some rich pak arab/russion mafia. They accepted those Americans with open arms at first and then those two guys decided to give Rafa the full reins.. fail spectacularly.

they are our rivals, the fact that we hate them as much as we hate themwill never abide.much same to cit£h and leeds.these 3 are inseparable when against us no matter form, stage or status.its always "fist and blood" when ever we meet.it has been that way since effin way back and has spilled outside football even back then.

as for "title" rivals...now this has many forms and shape.as the season draws to an end is when we will have a clear picture but as of now 6-7 teams are within each other, them included.

smalling 1 bln, rafael back but still give and take 3-4 weeks b4 even a reserves game, ando minor, young probably minor, cleverley pun precaution and its how his body reacts on it.good time for some contemplation and setting priorities right too as i think we will face our 2nd round of acid test after the break.number of games and some tricky opponents mainly Newcastle at ot.

bar injuries we do have few on duty way way far.valencia, chicha and fabio to name some.but equally we have a good pool retirees whom are important.

Kuszczak attacks Man United for treating him as 'a slave'

Manchester United's out-of-favour goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has launched an astonishing attack on his club by claiming he is being treated like "a slave".

In a scathing condemnation of Sir Alex Ferguson, Kuszczak has accused his manager of not caring about his career as he tries to regain his international place.

The Polish goalkeeper says he is desperate to leave Old Trafford in January and has reacted furiously to United's recent decision to block a loan deal with Leeds United. Kuszczak wants first-team football ahead of the European Championships next summer, where he wants to play for the co-hosts.
Advertisement: Story continues below

"Do they do it maliciously?" said Kuszczak, after a deal to take him to Elland Road was called off. "I'm sad they behave like that. I've become a slave to Manchester.

"I've spoken to Sir Alex Ferguson recently. I asked him to let me leave the club now, before the January transfer window. I told him I want to play and get back into the national team, because Euro 2012 is just around the corner, but it seems he doesn't care. The possibility of two months loan to Leeds United came two weeks later. The club blocked it.

"It was a glimmer of hope for me. I would have reminded the Poland manager. But I didn't get the club's approval."

Kuszczak is yet to make a first-team appearance this season. Having been an understudy to Edwin van der Sar since moving to Old Trafford in 2007, recent arrivals David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard appear to have relegated the Pole to fourth choice, even behind youngster Ben Amos. All three rival keepers have played this season, with Amos featuring in the Carling Cup.

"I'm frustrated, but I don't want to slander or criticise Ferguson," said Kuszczak. "It's not my style. I have respect for him, because, for me, he's a great manager, but I hope he will let me go in January."

Kuszczak has made 61 appearances for United since joining from West Bromwich Albion in 2007. There is little doubt the Pole is now on his way out of Old Trafford, but his startling attack is unlikely to assist his cause in acquiring a speedy exit.
