Is LV selling cheaper in London than KL?

I've never visit to any branded store, wonder if I want to buy a female LV handbag, will I get it cheaper in London or KL? Have anyone did any price comparison in two cities? Would appreciate your help.

Don't go to kl Lv shops.. One of my friend went thr and bought and fake one.. Cause she went to London and the shop told her that the beg she using is a fake one and cut her beg directly

but i did hear from a friend who told me that her friend is working in gucci malaysia and that there are people who works in there who swaps the originals for fakes and sells them to customers then takes out the original one. ><" so its possible.

I have the price list manual [a very thick one at that!] but I think it's outdated.
Having had experience in retail for 2 over years and my sis who was great friends with a former senior staff at LV, Starhill: there are some truth to the rumors especially the price one. Problem with Malaysia is the high tax and also, the management here wanna make good profit. In terms of sales, KL lag far far far behind Bangkok, Singapore and even Indonesia. LV is doing good compared to others though. Other brands can't even open bill for weeks! About the swapping with fakes; I've also heard it happen at Gucci. As for LV, not too sure but if you're worried, ask for the manager's or person in charge's opinion: troublesome but worth it for the money you spend on those bags! |

London definitely cheaper but actually the cheapest is in Paris, France. My sis Singapore airline stewardess buy a bag from there every year! But they take her IC and say she can only buy once a year o.O

Cheapest definitely will be from Paris.
London luxury bags will definitely be cheaper than Malaysia though. IMO, luxury bags sold in Malaysia are priced wayyyy higher than a lot of other countries. |

Anybody know how many LV bags per person can buy in Paris?
Lasttime (last year) they only allow 1 handbag & 1 wallet/accessories per person.. LV change their policy frequently.. |

with or without vat? the price is quite deceiving as you can only claim back abt 10% of the VAT after deducting service charge etc etc.

I know this is not the place to sell a service so I will say that I travel a lot and buy a lot of branded bags for friends but take part of the vat as service rendered, so if you r willing to trust then pm me if u want some help buying and there is no such thing as limit to purchases either in London or Paris or anywhere else... Paris is even cheaper Country of origin You may think the French is arrogant but they do place a lot of emphasis on service They will not attend to another customer until you are done... |

Hmmm....nver had any problem in LV Paris...the VAT tax refund at De Gaul is higher compared to Heathrow...but just remember to get to the airport 4-5 hours earlier,,,,the wait at the refund line is crazy...

Last time bought 2 LV for 1 passport, i have 5 passport...so bought 10pcs that entitle detaxe.. you can buy whole shop if u dont want detaxe... For me French are good and not arrogant if you threat them nice... some advice, pls greet them "bonjour" in day or "bonsoir" after 6pm.. and pls not forget to say Merci each time u receive anything... they will be very helpful and polite if we do so  |
