Did you do *128# or call careline when received phone not recognized.?
Delete all the APN, call careline again and ask for setting. When receive sms, save it and set as default. After that should be okay.

I think both aren't coming to M'sia as Galaxy Note going to be release real soon. And Note have LTE and HD both combine into one :-)

muahaha wrong bro. I9100T is for Australia under Telstra telco. I9100M if for Korean if i'm not mistaken. Same with our G version, both the T and M version also need specific rom. International I9100 rom cannot be use by all these version

I think Samsung is too busy preparing Exynos 4212 chips for Galaxy Note hence no more or limited older Exynos 4210. SGSII production achieve its target already. Time to concentrate and put full effort on the next product

It stated at the box that you're buying the I9100G product. You should check what that G meant for.
Once you know what G meant for, then you'll know that you're buying a product with different spec hence the different price.
Unless the box haven't stated anything on it OR the box is the same with the non-G version and they sell it with the same price as the non-G version, i don't think Samsung do anything illegal.

None as far as i remember. Your phone got problem with camera? I think you must have a certain battery percentage to take photo. If you on low battery then your camera wont work :-)

Your friend phone is rooted or not? If not, make sure the battery is above 30% before taking any photos.
If still got problem then better check at service centre

If you got proof about the advertisment like a photo or from newspaper cut, then you can bring the G version phone back to the shop and demand the exact phone as per what they advertised. Otherwise demand a refund.
It is your right to get what you're paying for. And in you case the non-G version.

If your friend phone was rooted then it's different story as some custom roms can make problem to the phone camera. But if your friend phone still on original stock rom then better bring it to service centre as the phone surely have camera defect/malfunction. Just claim for a warranty FOC :-)
