I would like to know too if there's any slim/slimmer case for it without sacrifice any functionality/usability. I still hate the fact that it keep on sliding out of position when stand angled.
*
Cause i was thinking to get a very farking slim case for it, then use my dock as stand. smile.gif

Very good idea u have there, just hope there's manufacturer willing to take the risk n come out with a slim case n get rid of the angled stand feature if they have to. thumbup.gif

Meanwhile my current case will be my Prime's companion until a better one comes out.

U dropped it b4 ? shocking.gif ... that could mean the cooling component used to keep the cpu temperature down is failed, malfunction or dislocated. Any sign on ur prime that shows u drop it ? If not, then better claim warranty.

If that's the case, I think transparent akin suit you more. I aso wan something thin, if I need a dock, then I'll use the keyboard dock.

I believe that is the 1st Asus Transformer model with 3G, model TF101G. Prime's model no. is TF201 which Asus already said they have no plan to release 3G version for Prime.

Except for the 1st batch, they got it via pre-order from the shop.

Others they just go to some digital mall (e.g lowyat plaza) and look for it, but mostly are sold out by now.

Minority found their device just by walking around digital section and surprised themselve that small small shop got 1 or 2 unit.

So, good luck on your finding.. biggrin.gif

Compare to my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Melkco case, its consider much more slimmer n lighter. But, the cons to the slimness is of course less protection (which is no big deal), n also the 3 gaps for u to stand ur Prime at certain angles doesn't come with enough height to prevent it from slide out from the gap, the curvy side of the Prime also big contributor to this short coming.
*
which means... cant stand in certain angles? will not hold the prime? hmm.gif

Just wanna share a cool Asus Battery widget, modded from the original Asus widget with the actual Prime's pic but it didn't replace the original one. It got nice effect whereby the screen become blurrier n blurrier as the battery power goes down until it crack at 10%. The widget also come with 2 dock colors to match the 1 u own.

The 1st gap is ok, but the 2nd n 3rd are not stable enough especially when u press/type harder on the Prime. What to do, its thin so no muscle to hold it ... tongue.gif ... But nevermind, Amazon refunded me $25 ... for the "delay" n cut on the case, so total paid ard RM47 only. biggrin.gif
