Actually I've been wanting to ask this. Is the trackpad very useful for this TP?

I never own a single tablet or any Android smartphone, so I'm curious how the trackpad and keyboard works within the Android ecosystem. I'm planning to get one tablet soon and this tablet really caught my attention.

The trackpad works like any notebook, but it's pretty sensitive.
The best place of using the trackpad is when you want to highlight something, eg. for copy and paste.
A normal finger seems hard to point the cursor directly where you want it to be.
But a trackpad helps alot.

Thanks for the reply. I am keen getting a tablet since I already own a desktop and company laptop(heavy but reliable).

My main primary usage will be video playback especially anime. I looked around and found that Tegra 3 supports high profile h264 playback so this tablet seems to be a good deal.

Any early adopters tried playing anime (720p) or any high profile .mkv with this machine? Subtitle support is also important as well.

Today afternoon try luck at Queensbay Mall but no results. And 1 shop force customers to buy with accessories some more. Damn shop taking advantage.

Then at night go to Gurney and saw an advertisement that a shop got stock. And after lurking in this thread for the past 2 months, I got myself a gold version. biggrin.gif

Lol. I thought why this thread suddenly got 50+ pages. See see it is merged with the old thread.

Gold is the only choice I have.

For the first charge, do you guys charge separately or together with the dock? The manual did not really mentioned anything except for 8 or more hours charge...

me too, i stop charging it not long after it was full, bcos if u read the manual properly, it says "To prolong battery life, fully charge the battery for up to 8 hours.", which mean not more than 8 hrs.
*
Actually, when you highlight this issue, I noticed that there is conflicting statements regarding the charging the battery for the first time.

At the beginning of the manual:

Remember to fully charge the battery (8 hours or more) before first use and whenever it is depleted to prolong battery life.

At the Charging the Eee Pad section:

To prolong battery life, fully charge the battery for up to 8 hours when using the Eee Pad for the first time and whenever the battery power is fully depleted.

I'm guessing some translation error or something.

I bought for 2059 but with 2 years warranty smile.gif

Can anyone share any useful apps for Prime? This is my first tablet and Android so I have very little idea on what to download for this baby.

Anyone using MX video player, what codec should I install for it.
*
I checked around and Tegra 3 still using ARMv7 Architecture so I guess that will be right one. But the app mentioned that if needed the app will notify the user to install the codec.

I meant a widget to see if there is any wifi activity. I looked around and some did not give me what I want.

Mine have 2 spots of light bleed when set the brightness to lowest.

However, I find this is not a problematic issue for me. I rarely set my brightness to max (max also 40%)

Hopefully they got sell. But I believe price won't be cheap either. I am now more interested at SP at the moment. If there is a SP that is high quality like my SGP Ultra Clear Crystal, that would be cool.

Any nice game to recommend? Preferably TD genre. Any genre is ok too.

I checked Tegra Zone and seems like only GTA3 attracted me.

Just receive the case... quite heavy after pasang every ting... will take am pic later

Hmm. I was suspecting that issue. The sample pics shows like it became an ancient dictionary book. Kind of negate the advantage of lightweight and slim design the ATP has.

Which senq u went? I just went to gurney senq but they don't have yet.

Most probably stock habis. I bought mine from senq gurney but that was 3 weeks ago. I was lucky that they have maximum stock when I ask the salesman.

After using for 3 weeks, this beauty is my main media entertainment device. Now if I can get a video player app that can play 10-bit anime perfectly, this will be perfect wink.gif
