I just had a Transcend SDHC cards for my Panasonic HD Camcorder. Let’s see if it is able to perform well to write with a minimum of 10MB/s sequentially.



Testing Methodology
• Transcend 8GB SDHC Card Class 10
• Transcend 2.0 USB card reader
• Crystal Disk Mark Software 3.0.1 and Flash Memory Toolkit 2:01

Speed test with Crystal Disk Mark I 3.0.1:



Transcend SDHC Card is able to read at 16.87 MB/s and write at 12.22 MB/s sequentially. It fulfills the requirement of Class 10 SHDC speed class rating ~ at least 10 MB/s writing speed.

Conclusion
Transcend SHDC cards performance up to its specifications and gives us the higher speed and capacity. Camera buffs might not notice the difference but HD video users should appreciate the speedier performance in the Class 10 card.
So, if you want something that is speedy and has the capacity, this card would be a good choice.

I've been using this for quite some time as well, able to spam about 8-9 RAW shots continuously without buffering (is this the correct term? When the camea's red light is showing and the camera takes time to write the photos onto the card").

Very satisfied with the performance of this card, recently I just bought another 16gb class 10 transcend ultimate
