Just bought a kingston 16gb SDHC Class 10 for ~RM70-75 at digital mall.
Has the price of SD cards drop recently? I was tracking the silicon power 16gb c10 for RM99 as the cheapest card previously. Sandisk same spec usually 100-200+.
wow, very cheap..my I know which shop you bought ur kingston 16 GB SDHC class 10?
seems like not much difference...or maybe we need to test it using sandisk card reader perhaps?
I'm using my built in Asus G73Jh notebook's card reader when I did this test. Perhaps next time, I will make another test if I got myself a decent card reader
Transcend class 16gb, 30mb/s got it for rm89 reason why i use this memory card is because its cheap, lifetime warranty, and never failed me even when i do recording in full hd or 720p 60fps

Hmm I think as long as you buy a memory card which has black casing or white casing, you wont go wrong. But the one with blue casing SD cards will have slower transfer rate. I don't know why but I did this research in my college project and it seems to be true...
Uh oh.... it's like saying red or yellow painted car will always go faster...
hahahaha what sort of logic is that right?
Btw, I found out that black compact cameras seem to perform better than light coloured ones. I don't know why but I did this research in my college project and it seems to be true...

Many in the Canon L lens series are white in color. According to Canon, this reduces heat gain when a lens is used in bright, direct sunlight. White reflects more light than black - thus, less heat gain.
need to know if class 10 kingston SD10V/8GB good for normal compact camera use..?
i mean like taking pic with 16mp compact camara..? and some 720p records..?
thanks for reply...
so far my experience with Kingston is not that good, be it CF or SD.
I've got Transcend 16GB SD Class 10. So far so good, the transfer rate to computer using USB2.0 is comparable to CF card. Practical use with video recording 1080p on my DSLR is also quite ok
