correct u can use a lantern too but u only will find it further down the area after the first bonfire. so if u r first timer entering this area then u might wanna consider to use that magic hehe

thanks, i think will have to level up my attunement for another slot just in case i run out of pyro ammo. lemme see one slot for combustion, another for fire orbs & the last slot goes to fireball. i hope that is enough.

i need some feedbacks from magic users here. are magics any good? coz im a melee player and i recently started a new magic char and i must say, IT SUCKS! so, anyone mind telling me what the pros of using magics? coz i see none.

there will be more advance magic in later game such as heavy soul arrow and great heavy soul arrow

sorceries magic are useless without target focusing (R3)

I am just half magic haha, but anyway soul arrow seems quite power, got hit by them before, painful man but I think the main problem with magic user is the limited charges for their spells, so once finish it's back to bonfire to recover. Which means you need high attunement to be able to hold more spells

Use magic infused weapons which scale with your INT, the devs mainly want you to not go pure magic or pure pyromancy, hence the charges system. You deal a shitton of damage if you use an Enchanted weapon while your INT is high.

the same can be said for pyromancy. fireballs are useless without targeting and the range is so damn short.

woott!! my pyro flame already v2 +2. want to max it out to +5. anyway, does pyro scaling with INT? coz my INT is 11 only.

Oh yeah regarding weapon, just got an Iato, thinking of using it but not sure how to upgrade, now it's at +6, so I can either continue it upgrading that way or go magical, etc. Or can also put in Quelaag soul.

Not really sure how I should go with the upgrading, I doubt I want a fire weapon, since myself is already a fire weapon hahaha

so should I go raw, continue to +15, make it magical or add another different element like lightning

Some sites mention once you upgrade your pyro gloves it scales better with intelligence but then not sure by how much or is it even true

Yes, it's very expensive to upgrade Pyro gloves. I had to do many runs farming for souls at Darkroot Garden to pay for those upgrades.

Sad I just join Forest Hunter covenant so cannot farm them till I leave it haha

yeah. expensive meh. i need to funding 109k to max out my glove to v2 +5. huhu. but the sad thing, my slot only 2! dammit. anyway, what is the most powerful flame that available to purchase? im currently equip 2pcs fireball, make it 16 round. i also got combustion and fire orb.

So when I look in the Book of the Guilty, some of the top players are using Tranquil Walk of Peace with a Faith stat of 8. Anyone know how this is possible?
