thanks for the reply. I got that Halberd already, just wish to get a few extras. Mind tell me which monster drop it?

Owh, I mean normal Halberd,
want to make various kind of element halberd for monster poking action!

Black Knight wise, i got BK Greatswords and BK Halberd for the moment!

I killed a few of them...so far only got 2 drops!
btw, wearing the snake ring helps

still no idea which monster drop normal halberd?

I got 2 normal halberd actually. forgot where i got it already. haha
1 of it i accidentally "fed" it to the monsters which return me for a few lousy souls.
another one i manage to upgrade it to +5 Devine Halberd (which is extremely usefull in Catacombs)
now wish to get make a Flame Halberd (take advantages of it's long range meele).
+5 Quelaag Furysword is fine for the moment but the range is short

Arrows too slow, pyro do fine there,
for me, i just spam those souls arrows magic till it down, works fine for 2 hydras in the game

hints* after finishing the 1st hydra (waterfall one), do reload (or come back afterwards) and go to nearby cave for some excitements!

yep. only appeared after hydra downed. I forgot that time whether i am hollow or human but as what rezuan said, better come back in human form.

in the tomb of giants... but trust me, u might want to equip that light spell before entering the tomb of giants...
i fell down a lot of times there before getting the lantern

there will be more advance magic in later game such as heavy soul arrow and great heavy soul arrow

sorceries magic are useless without target focusing (R3)

Convert to human form. U can summon NPC (the sun bro) to help u tank.
If u want to go for platinum, 1st Round kill Fatty first then only kill Skinny. This is because either one killed the other will inherit it's power. No doubt that Skinny is the hardest to down. So u might want to down Skinny last at 1st round and Fatty last on NG+.
Each of them drop different souls for different weapon for the Platinum.

If really cannot then try up 5 SL and keep on trying. Good Luck!

For me.. some unknown dude help me tank it so it's 3 vs 2 (me, dude, NPC vs Skinny and Fatty)

U can down Sif then Butterfly should be a piece of cake for u!
I initially plan to kill 5 forest invader before killing Sif for that ring of fog and Sif conversation with that fatty CAT but somehow all those invaders PVP are dem strong for me. End up go straight to kill Sif and use my Lantern to exchange for the ring of fog.

When equipped the ring the fatty gave u, u will be in queue for PVP incase other players are entering the forest. If u manage to kill 3 ppl then the fatty will give u ring of fog. if u killed 5 the cat will start conversation about sif

Seath should be the easiest if u dont plan to cut it's tail. Just aim it's left leg tip (your right) and run in anti-clock wise. His curse crystal can't harm you in that way. just hack and slash until it down.

For tail, it's way way way harder!
i tried whole afternoon only manage to cut down the tail (for moonlight greatsword - one of the weapon needed for platinum trophy)

just the ground floor of the escalator area from this route firelink - new londo ruins - valley of drake - blight town

prerequisite : Joined Forest Hunter Convenant and talked with Shiva. After he went away from forest then u can meet him at blight town

perhaps u can try iron flesh spell, walk near them and spam pyro spell?
or u could try poison on it (it's resistance to poison is D, lowest), hit and hide
if u have better shield or wolf's ring (poise), block with shield won make you move backward

For me, i rather use Dragon Slayer Spear. Both use demon titanite to upgrade

I prefer Bloodshield which enhance element defense and 100% blocking

I am using Havel's Set (get from anor londo). I think it's the best defense set without upgrade. The drawbacks is slow stamina recovery. That's why i replace the helm with Mask of child. That's my current armor setup
