I hardly drink it anymore after reading about genetically modified soya beans, and it is not easy or cheap to get fresh non genetically modified soya bean milk.

For non gmo organic soya milk rm1.30 is very reasonable, i would buy it. Now i hardly drink soya bean after reading all about how the crop is all genetically modified.

QUOTE(snow_xueli @ Oct 20 2011, 10:10 AM) yup, soymilk is my favourite but it is too sweet for me... You can request them for not to adding sucrose solution if the soya milk is home made. Now I think the market is selling sugar-less drinks right.

As long as no sugar, any soy should be as good as you can get.
GM crops are everywhere in manufactured foods and Asian tofu dishes. I doubt if you can avoid them. Think of the corn, soya, canola oil used in manufactured products. Even "organic" might not be zero risk for toxins.
Avoiding sugar is probably the most significant first step you can take towards a healthier diet.
