I hardly drink it anymore after reading about genetically modified soya beans, and it is not easy or cheap to get fresh non genetically modified soya bean milk.
*
it is hard to obtain non-GMO products now. how much are u willing to pay for a lactose free, non-gmo,pesticides free, nopreservative, gluten free organic soya milk then?
how bout rm1.30 per serving ?

i suppose rm1.30 per glass is the market price...
how about those soya milk sold by pasar malam stall? are they non-genetically modified soya bean & fresh?
*
i would say rm1.30 per serving, haha! since organic soya milk ( bio green /new essentials ) all come in like rm 36 for roughly 700-800g.

those soya milk sold in pasar malam stall? i think it depends where their soya bean come from.=) however, what i do not like is due to the sucrose they added, i prefer non- sweetened soya.

i love to mix my soya with oats, taste aweesome.. >.>

For non gmo organic soya milk rm1.30 is very reasonable, i would buy it. Now i hardly drink soya bean after reading all about how the crop is all genetically modified.
*
u can try new essentials organic soya milk, its 25 serving @ round rm36 ( sometimes u get discount for rm 33.) quite good and nice, been mixing with my oats, perfect!
i think bio green's soya milk is around rm36 also , but nt sure how many servings.

You can request them for not to adding sucrose solution if the soya milk is home made.

Now I think the market is selling sugar-less drinks right.
*
that y i prefer to use organic unsweetened ones and homemade (no time)

Mine is home made sold at my hometown.  Actually the real soya milk has not much taste.

yes i do agree..lol

QUOTE
As long as no sugar, any soy should be as good as you can get.  GM crops are everywhere in manufactured foods and Asian tofu dishes. I doubt if you can avoid them. Think of the corn, soya, canola oil used in manufactured products. Even "organic" might not be zero risk for toxins.  Avoiding sugar is probably the most significant first step you can take towards a healthier diet.

sometimes u wouldnt know how they product, but placebo will do the trick there..haha! if we can avoid, den we avoid.=) if cant, i guess there's no choice rite ?

+ to your sugar thingy ..^^

Soy milk good for men? I heard my previous Science teacher said soya has natural female hormones hmm.gif
*
soya milk contain natural female hormones - phytoestrogens, ( isoflavones) however their potency is lesser 10x than the original estrogen.
it do act to replace estrogen when not enough estrogen and also will block estrogen when its over.
