Usually what wood material and tops the carpenter use for making cabinets and table ?

many woods can be used and high quality one can be like cengal, nyatoh or kampung wood like tembusu etc

among this wood, which is the most common one use to made cabinet and table top at the lowest price. what's the setback.
at least with this know how, i could just find a medium range that will not cost a bomb when request quote from supplier.

how do we calculate for table top? does it count by the length of table? what if there's a drawer or door for bottom cabinet?

Table Top is calculated by ft length

For base unit, if it's concrete table top ppl will do door only.
By the way, some ppl do "partition" inside to make it become "two layer" then you have more space to store your things.

Of coz there have different price between door & drawer.
making drawer need more time, more material, more energy, so you have to pay more too wink.gif
