I got mine by testing using that method. Everyone should have different settings.

I got mine at 1430 but according to the site I attached up there, we have to add in 28 Bytes again. So, it is 1458.

To be honest, it doesn't make any difference to me either this new MTU or the default MTU.

I need serious help here. This didn't happen when I was using Aztech router. I noticed that my iPad will top receiving data from my router after a while and this caused frequent freeze on my video streaming.

I searched this topic that MYstombox had the same issue also. Does anyone mind to share the workaround? Else, this is going to bother me a lot and iPad has been playing a big role in my life.

No la, this is a common problem for MR 3420. Nothing to do with flashing or not.
I Googled and it is a common problem.

OK, how did you know it is channel 9? Tried one by one?

iPad (and probably iPhone) will stop transmitting data after a while...
Even MYstombox and KKW used to have this problem.

Never mind, I'm now trying channel 9 and see if the problem still persists.
It takes days for observation.

That issue. All thanks to iPad. Simple reset on the network on my iPad solved all the problem.

I noticed that Channel 9 is not working that well for me. It is better than the earlier one but it still stops after a while of inactivation. Any other suggested channel?

Er, I don't turn on my WiFi on my laptop.
Pure LAN only because WiFi is slower compared to LAN. Hehe.

Still the MTU I tested the other day, will try again.
Nope, no extended cable. Straight plug to my router.

Mine seems to give priority to WiFi and hence slower for me...

I tried earlier, no big difference.
OK la, will try at night again.

I think after some observations, my iPad is working fine. Will monitor for another day.
