This firmware more stable compare the one which come with router..
Last time my E1762 took almost 3-4min to connect after update less than a minute to connect
*
Oh, haven't tried that part yet.
Let's see after I disconnect later. biggrin.gif

To those that dying to know which MTU settings are the best for theirs: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/5793
I got mine by testing using that method. Everyone should have different settings. smile.gif

I got mine at 1430 but according to the site I attached up there, we have to add in 28 Bytes again. So, it is 1458. hmm.gif

I need serious help here. This didn't happen when I was using Aztech router. I noticed that my iPad will top receiving data from my router after a while and this caused frequent freeze on my video streaming.

I searched this topic that MYstombox had the same issue also. Does anyone mind to share the workaround? Else, this is going to bother me a lot and iPad has been playing a big role in my life.

QUOTE(digilife @ Apr 1 2012, 08:35 AM)
care to tell wat actually happened and wat u done to your router?

flashed it?

set the MTU?

the rule of the thumb, dun mess with the default if all is fine, i hope my prediction is not true , btw, do u still remember abt the initial minutes of your HW550?
*
No la, this is a common problem for MR 3420. Nothing to do with flashing or not.
I Googled and it is a common problem. smile.gif

QUOTE(KKW @ Apr 1 2012, 08:42 AM)

iPad (and probably iPhone) will stop transmitting data after a while... smile.gif
Even MYstombox and KKW used to have this problem.

I noticed that Channel 9 is not working that well for me. It is better than the earlier one but it still stops after a while of inactivation. Any other suggested channel? hmm.gif

Nope, no extended cable. Straight plug to my router.

Use LAN and wifi together will be much smoother

Mine seems to give priority to WiFi and hence slower for me...

Try put as default MTU..

I tried earlier, no big difference. laugh.gif
