Yes agree with u.refer to my previous post about the complaint to directd shop.u face the same problem like mine.mine worse...the so call new set was already register online under malay name...

So always make sure u ask the sales person let u oprn urself the sealed unit.don buy if the seal is broken.
*
Agreed.

Never take an open set, unless you are 500% sure..

I specifically demanded for a sealed set, when I purchased mine. Cost me Rm10 more, but it's totally worth the trouble.

define "working". i hardly use that, so cant help much to answer you. just now playing a while, it seems working as in locking my location and finding destinations, with directions guide as well.

i have not experiencing htc sense restarting. read a post at other thread, try to move app from SD card to internal phone memory (if any), that has reported helps eliminate sense restarting issue.

Please check if your screen panel is acer made. Sharp panel seems to be working fine with ics roms while acer users has been reporting blueish tint on screen.

I have to say the battery life on ICS is much improved compared to previous GB ROMS.

Screen on time more than 2 hours plus, with everything enabled, moderate to heavy data usage (FB, email, surf, sms, some calls etc), was at 20 hours without charging with 40% left. I'm on stock kernel without under-volt even.

As for premium navigation, works pretty well for me, somewhat more accurate compared to GB ROMS, didn't even need the AGPS mod by crypted.

For Sense restarting, it only happened once after I installed the ROM. Other times it happened is due to playing heavy games and exiting heavy applications, but I noticed it occurs less compared to when I was on GB.

Really kudos to Leedroid for an exemplary job in coming out with such a rock solid ROM.

members reported deleting the sound set download manager solve the issue. i've deleted but yet to restart my phone for verification cos phone is charging now.

for me, despite having 2 freeze yday while accessing to people and clock, others is all fine. smooth and fluid, noticable improved performance comparing to GB.

ok, so you've updated the firmware, flashing v.6.0.0 is causing bootloops.

do you wipe before flashing from leedroid v.4.3.0 to v.6.0.0?

if you're able to enter recovery, try below steps and see if it helps
1. copy full wipe, ics rom, firmware at root of sd card
2. boot to recovery, full wipe, flash ics rom
3. boot to bootloader, update firmware
4. reboot your phone

i downloaded the firmware from HERE instead of the one provided by lee. (please ensure you download the correct cid and mid for your phone) i opt for this cos i dont want to supercid my phone.

has anyone flashed the latest firmware 3.24 and running with GB roms? is that possible and working?

i had restore my previous rom from nandroid, i did a super wipe before i flash the ics v6.0.0, and i had supercid my phone, is that ok to use the firmware provided by lee? teh_master your steps are slightly different from that lee provided, so is flashing the ics rom then follow by the firmware?

what teh said is the best way..because if you flash the firmware first you will need sd card to delete the firmware update file which prevent to enter into recovery..conclusion if you flash the rom first so you can boot the rom straight away after you flash the firmware

Yeap, follow what teh said. I wipe then installed firmware, ended up not being able to get into recovery, had to use a computer to get to recovery...no big deal if you're flashing at home but a pain when you can't have access to a computer that had ADB enabled.
