its not necessary to follow the product cycle.
product cycle is just an estimated time frame.
at the moment, stocks at local resellers are running low
*
iPad 3 stock are still running low, does that mean that iPad4 will be out soon? brows.gif

is that not a guestimate too?

at least the mac product cycle gives you are a timeframe

WWDC is a good indicator of new product launch, but question is what and when(they are not always available immediately)

change the channel of your router

that worked for me too.
there are widgets you can download to see what channels your neighbors are using
so you know which channel o switch to.

Mine is even worse. Bought macbook pro on December last year, and yesterday got smoke come out from the keyboard. I was like..WTH!!! Went to machine and have it checked, the technician said one of the chip near the fan has burnt out. Haihzzz....whatever happen to the quality of Macbook these days. My old Macbook white with intel core 2 duo can last me a year and still serving me great till now. But this new macbook is a sad case. My wonder is why the built is getting low.....?

manufacture defects.
these sorts of things happen in every product.
you won't find a company that has 100% same quality control for every products they manufacture

Bry7, Ya i know. Nothing is perfect. But the old one last longer it seems. Thank goodness the hard drive still functioning, else i'll be crying cause all my important work is inside there. The tech said motherboard need to be replaced. I just scared it will affect the monitor later on. Should i ask them to give me a new unit since this is definitely their mistake? .....

they won't give you a replacement, only after the 3rd major part replacement they will offer you a replacement
and your unit has been already 6 months

Yes it's worth for waiting.
If you don't like the next MBP spec, you can buy the current MBP from apple store with lower price because they wanna to clear stock brows.gif

Btw, guys..
How to remove scratches on MBP body?
I tested toothpaste, car compound polish, car dirt cleaner, and car wax
None of them working.. any idea?

Hi KKW,

Thanks for advise.

How deep is the scratches?. I thought MBP body was fabricated using ALU, then removing scrathes from ALU surface is quite impossible.

Which MBP you're using? Is your room temp hot?
On my MBP 17" normal surfing around 50 when watching HD video from youtube/file always around 60-70
When doing my project, around 90-98

MBP 15 2.4GHz Quad | 8GB DDR3 | 1GB GDDR5 ATi 6770M | 750GB, I occasionally use it at room temp thats when it gets hot, then I have to turn on the aircond. At work its not as hot as my workplace is fully airconditioned. Could it be that my fans are dusty or something? Do you do your projects with cooling aid or in an airconditioned room?

Dear expert

a) Will Apple update Macbook Air WWDC next week? Or only Macbook Pro only ?
b) I plan to update, so i believe now its the best time to sell my current MBP
c) Once its announced , i can buy straight away from Apple Store Malaysia right?

Appreciate your reply

Macrumors have an image of the upcoming 13" MBP:

Seems like not much improvement over the current generation. Of course this is all rumor and image can be faked. Those who want to buy should wait biggrin.gif It's few days away only anyway. icon_rolleyes.gif
