QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Oct 10 2011, 04:43 PM) @BRY7, i was referring to this:I don't think we need any congratulatory post each time a topic is open Also, I don't think it's very necessary to have the link of the Apple Online Store in Post #1 but if @stringfellow wants to include it in, I've no problems. The thing is - I don't see Y people just can't google it - it's not like the Apple Online Store link is hidden, right? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/842060 not store.apple.com/my |

QUOTE(ronaldkh @ Oct 11 2011, 09:20 PM) Is it necessary to apply a screen protector onto the MacBook Air? if you're worried about it getting scratches, don't worry it won't happen.Came across with the iVisor Air anti-glare screen protector by moshi. but if you find the glossy screen annoying, keeps on seeing reflection of yourself on the screen. then get the antiglare one |

QUOTE(olivur @ Oct 14 2011, 12:09 PM) off topic, but intel will be bundling water coolers now with their sandy bridge chips apart from the stock air cooler we've seen since forever. its for desktop processors right?http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Intel-San...ling,13666.html wonder if this would break ground for stock water cooled laptops in the future. while highly unlikely, still something to ponder upon |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Oct 28 2011, 04:25 PM) I have a question regarding the MBP 13". I've read some comments from users that the MBP heats up easily when opening few applications. Is it true? not valid, it rarely gets hot if theres ventilation.I've tested my friend's MBP and I don't feel anything if you're sitting the MBP on your laps or bed then surely it will heat up |

QUOTE(noobie123 @ Oct 31 2011, 10:36 PM) Guys noob question here. How come after I close all the apps running but my free memory are still 2GB? I'm using MBP 4GB... when you close it, Active Memory transfers the memory to Inactive Memory.this feature ensures that if you decided to open the closed app again, it will be faster. but if memory is needed for other applications, Inactive Memory will be free to accommodate the app you open. this is the beauty of Mac OS X |
