Yes, it is a part of AMD driver by HP.

Install AMD driver from HP and then install any AMD driver if you want to. Don't update it through window update as its not actually "newer".

shoot.. they replaced with a 6100 series mobo. maybe u can give them a call and ask for a 6000 mobo. did you check the BIOS if got option to change to fixed switching?

Didn't try 11.11 much.. i'm on leaked driver v8.930.

Having a problem now where my display won't turn off eventhough i've set it to turn off after 1 min.

Added on December 3, 2011, 3:41 pmI noticed CCC in November 29 driver won't save the profile i've created. Now i'm back to November 18 driver.

just found out that the culprit of why my monitor won't turn off caused by my onza gamepad.

why now? i've been using it for many months and don't have this problem. window i so hate u. shakehead.gif

IAStor are not related at all. By "doesn't work" u mean nothing u plugged in there working or you didn't get the USB 3.0 speed that you're expecting?

Do you have USB 3.0 in your device manager?

I didn't change anything in CCC for Skyrim. You can try my config. Extract both into ..\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\
Backup your config 1st incase you didn't like mine. I think mine have lower draw distance compare to default.

I think if you unplug your battery, CoolSense setting will return to default when u reboot or shutdown. That is why i use Window PowerPlan to disable TurboBoost instead of relying on CoolSense. CoolSense do make the fan spin sooner though.

The left palmrest is like a huge heatsink. You need a tablefan to help it dissipate the heat faster or switch to iGPU. laugh.gif

DV6-6180US are imported set. Not sure if u can claim warranty with HP Malaysia or not. Also, not sure if u can extend the warranty or not. Maybe you could give HP a call and ask them directly. They never reply my in FB.

Your AA Deferred is off right? Try ingame console tweak.. press "~" while playing and type
CODE
WorldRender.DxDeferredCsPathEnable 0

And set Shadow to Medium.

If you don't want to fiddle with CoolSense or ThrottleStop, you can set "Maximum Processor State" in Power Plan to 99%. That will disable TurboBoost.

I have 4 Power Plans.
1. Power Saver
2. TurboBoost with Max Core Park@50%. Pretty much disabled 4 cores so i can get constant TurboBoost@2.6Ghz without using ThrottleStop
3. TurboBoost with Min&Max Core Park@100%.
4. No TurboBoost for gaming.

Both USB ports on the left are 3.0. Got "SS USB" symbol underneath it.

If u meant a warm palm rest when gaming and distorted speaker when playing low quality audio.. yes i face those problem before.
