Sandy Bridge notebook should have SATA3 on the HDD bay, while the Optical bay most likely is SATA2..

SPD is just the available speed,
check the "memory" tab, that is what your RAM running at. |

No, the SPD profile is for the BIOS to check the RAM, so the BIOS can decide which speed to run.
Switch to Intel HD if no gaming. |

They will run at the same speed, the highest speed available at both RAM and supported.
Right click at desktop, configure switchable graphic, click the power saving GPU. |
