He can't do anything but pray the Approving Manager has done his/her job

This means that it is not the branch or the one who handles the application fault.. it is the Approving Manager in HQ.

I'm not sure how true is that but my officer said she has been following up and pushing hard every single day. Well.

That's nice of her.... maybe this evening the IVR will change status to Approved (hope mine too)

Though she said mine is approved but my status on IVR still hasn't changed.

Maybe somebody froze Ambank system, need to check some suspicious accounts, so all works are suspended.

I cancel my card few months back..end of May get sms and ask to reinstate the card and offer me rm300 cash back for rm800 spend..early june send the form and get the card after 1 month..

I bet now Affin will be affected as well.

Will do that once I received my rm650 CB from Ambank

Fyi. When i know my card approved via IVR. I do call CS to confirm and they give me the same answer. IVR update in "real" time based on my experience

ronnie and chongaik82, I just called AmBank CS to know the latest status. She said my application was approved on 9th July.

IVR still says in processing... Ronnie, maybe you can also call CS to check?

Sad to announce... that my application is pending approval.

Me even sad... i send in Jln Yap Kwan Seng. So called HQ
