QUOTE(Walbur @ Oct 17 2011, 02:38 PM) both console sharing the same graphic, but, you might experiences frame rate drop to 20 in some area, same happen to PS3 too. Walbur, I saw you playing this game mostly, cause you're in my friend list aka Kira76. Nevertheless I have decided to get a Xbox version instead because I always believe Xbox can deliver better performance and graphic compared to PS3. Have ordered my copy and getting it tonite. Thanks for guide...The game is not hard, the only thing you have to learn is blocking or dodge heavy atk, and try not to aggro too much enemy. |

QUOTE(heavendevil @ Oct 19 2011, 08:42 PM) Both of them are quite easy. Just circle behind them with the shield up whenever they attack and backstab. I managed to defeat Black Knight, but I noticed my damage to Havel Rock quite low i.e. 32+ only. With such damage, guess I might backstab till my hand tire also can't defeat him. Perhaps shall I raise my level higher? |

Can I suggest we create a Dark Souls player list here? So all Xbox DS players can add/invite each other. Think this will make the game more lively.... Perhaps constantly update on their level will be great.
example: GT: johnboy [lvl 36] |

If I shoot till half way but run out of arrows and soul, then I rest at bonfire just to let the enemies respawn, will the Red Dragon damaged remains?

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ Oct 21 2011, 12:35 PM) The dragon's damage does not remain. Anyway, i bought about 100 of the cheapest arrows to get the aiming right and about 20 of the strong ones - what i realise is that you actually have to hit the tail and you'll get confirmation when the tail moves away and then back into position. It's also possible to cut off the tail using melee attacks. Funnily enough, the dragon committed suicide on my run and rewarded me with 10k souls. I managed to shot off the tail already. Now wana kill the Red Dragon only. Can still use arrows to kill it or must shoot the head from tower? If shoot under bridge, roughly require how many arrows? I have difficulty to defeat the Tower Black Knight, the damage is just unbearable...Thanks |

QUOTE(heavendevil @ Oct 21 2011, 09:51 PM) Put your shield up, and circle to the right around him. When he attacks get behind him and backstab. Since you've gotten the Drake Sword killing the Black Knight is easy. Thanks for tips, managed to beat him already. Any tips on Channeler? Can't find its HP data... |

Im getting more and more excited on each area I have completed. This game is so complex and really worth invest no matter time or money....! But Im abit kelam-kabut on which area to clear 1st, because this game doesn't restrict player to venture which area as priority. Really worth every penny... hahah

QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ Oct 27 2011, 09:45 PM) Haha I had similar problem before, gone through hell, dying lots of time to get to the end of an area, only to realise that the way was block because I didnt have something required to unlock the area haih. But true enough, this game is so addicting and satisfying to play The graphics in Depts-Lower Section is just so gorgeous..., the visual is getting better and better when we explore further. Never know that this game was developed by Japanese! No wonder the game play is so solid, hahah.... If you are playing in home theater system, you can even hear or feel the enemy is closing you, the sound effect is awesome too, what a great game... Really long time never stick to any games for such long hours... Added on October 28, 2011, 10:48 am QUOTE(andrewcha @ Oct 28 2011, 10:28 AM) is this the Guy that jaga the gate to the forest area? defeat that guy with lvl15 and a club. this one still ok. black Knight now want to try kill him with parry but... try below website, you will know what to do next... he din make sound when attack so harder to predict la. got the big sword. start with lettet z one at the skeleton area buy no use. haih now dunno where to explore. http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Firelink+Shrine Frankly speaking, if without any guide or reference, can't imagine how many times we die to fully explore an area. However I managed to download "Dark Souls Official Guide" in pdf format which I was about to order thru online earlier. The most important is it has full map for all areas, so in short, prepare to Die Less.... This post has been edited by stanleyow: Oct 28 2011, 12:38 PM |

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Oct 28 2011, 10:51 AM) I prefer no map to explore and exploit my own. now I still thinking which version to buy since I borrow this one. still thinking how to kill that black knight though I got the ring already he jaga. Definitely go for Xbox version if you prefer better graphics stability, higher res and less stuttering visual during online play as commented by PS3 forum. Almost 80% multi-platform games look and run better in Xbox... I was in dilemma before when choosing which version to go, but ended up in Xbox version. This post has been edited by stanleyow: Oct 28 2011, 11:05 AM |

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Oct 28 2011, 11:27 AM) was thinking bout it too. but very expensive play 360 need to pay live. haih. got headset for 360? can't turn volume too high so tod want to enjoy the music and the scary sound using headset. the other plus side with 360 cos bigger controller. easier to parry compare to almost no feel ps3 L2 R2 button. Nowadays Xboxlive subscription also consider valuable compared last time about RM38/month. Now offering 12+2 mths about RM180, should be worth while. If you wana use headset, think the only solution is get a wireless headset plug into your amp, but even higher budget hahah...Added on October 28, 2011, 1:13 pmThe Depts and Blightown area is damn creepy man, and the enemies are quite tough too. Luckily I kelam-kabut rushed into Darkroot Basin & Garden earlier and level-up till 50+, otherwise...... This post has been edited by stanleyow: Oct 28 2011, 01:13 PM |

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Oct 28 2011, 04:07 PM) now at the tower where the black knight with great sword swing at me. Still figuring out how to beat him early early. LOL... Just buy about 30 firebombs, lure him down from tower then keep throwing firebomb at him will do. Lure him down to an open area e.g: bonfire down stair. So no complicated skill to dodge his attack... Firebomb = 50 souls/pc |

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Oct 28 2011, 10:55 PM) haha try to melee him like the previous 2 black Knight. if really can't kill him with few more attempt then just skip and explore new place. kill the pig and get humanity. can explain abit bout humanity? Haven't explore much on humanity, but I know it uses for summoning other player for assistance or invade other player's game. |
