That skeleton is a merchant, don't kill her, she's selling some poison, toxin and bleeding remedies.

Me too, I accidentally slashed Sig Meyer Catarina when engaging with Silver Knight, later he chased me up and down. Even after respawn at Bonfire also the same, then I have no choice but to end his life, sigh... Next time I will not battle near merchant or NPC area.

just ring the bell, defeat the dragon get the blighttown key and tod want to go for forest area. freaking hard le those enemy. now dunno where to go. soul level 21 no soul to level up. haih. you know how much is my sin? 42k man. now become good person also hard. now go where a?
*
Lvl 20+ quite hard to travel further. I suggest you level up at Darkroot Garden for the time being before develop further. There's a Bonfire nearby a locked door there, you may rest and train there for awhile. But if you wana level up faster, you need to unlock the door next to it, it requires 20k souls. Last time I saved my souls from hunting Drakes at Valley of the Drake to unlock that door (i.e. 500/kill)

unlock the 20k door after defeat The dragon at depth. waste my teleport item cos can't find way up back and get cursed. I dun dare enter the 20k door. invinsible knight with a ranger shooting soul arrow at me. no chance all. fight that green big statue also hard when that fella cast me slow. idiot. might go down underworld see see but can't kill those phantom la.
*
Don't get freak out with those rangers, you will have no problem if you raise your shield firmly. Trust me, unlock the door will greatly assist your training. There are 6 ranger there, 3 visible and 3 non-visible. For starter, you just lure the nearest 2 or 3 rangers to the ledge only. Those 3 consist of 1 Mage, 1 Ranger and 1 Thief(invisible). If you don't travel too deep, you won't alert the Hunter & Knight (both invisible and need to kill 1 time only, they won't respawn later).

Stay in this manner until you fimiliar with the forest, higher level and confidence to go deeper. You will enjoy seeing they jump off the ledge... biggrin.gif. You will certainly need to level up further, because up-coming Sen Fortress and Anor Londo area need higher defense to explore.

Anyway, have you decided to purchase the game? You won't regret getting either version...(PS3/Xbox)

Im so clueless on how to beat Ornstein & Smough..., even summon Knight Solaire also seem hard. Perhaps Im using the wrong weapon(Drake sword) and armor(Phys Def 312)...?

QUOTE(The 1 Coward @ Nov 2 2011, 08:34 AM)
I beat them using a lightning claymore not sure how many +'es at that time but i went the fast and smaller enemy at first and later got pummeled by the bigger bigger foe. So i went ahead and defeat the big 1 1st then later when the lightning guy grew larger, his attacks became exceptionally easy to dodge.

The trick is to roll towards him whenever he charges an attack. Do take note when he jumps up in the air cause he will be dropping down an AOE soon after that which you might or might not survive it.

Good luck cool2.gif

I managed to beat Ornstein & Smough lastnite with just 1 try(anyway I left 1 humanity only biggrin.gif ), but the problem is... later only I realised if I wana buy Ornstein armor set at Zena, I required to beat Smough 1st. Now I can't buy Ornstein armor set, only Smough set available, sigh.....

You see the problem is, if you don't refer any guide or reference, you will keep repeating "Don't know where to go?" or "Don't know what to do next"?

Haha must resist the temptation of the dark side. Or else you can never stop resisting to look at the guide. By the way I ended up buying the guide book for the game lol  tongue.gif .
*
Bro, mind sharing where you bought the Official Guide Book? I have tried Kinokuniya, but not yet bring in.

Bought the official guidebook from kinokuniya. The cover very nice and details inside is not too bad. OK buy if you have cash to spare.

i have just started playing dark soul 2 days back, i would like to say this is like one of the hardest game ever.

the designer of the game its like made it in such a way that you already know how to play the game/understands each enemies fighting style i should say, altho dying isnt a big deal but fighting some 1 much larger than your self its so "dangerous" and also the Humanity system which is so...."wow" confusing without proper guide or somehow lol
*
Continue explore for a couple of days and you will find it very interesting and addicting at the same time. But you should refer some web guide to understand more about the weapon range and basic info on humanity. I would say this title deserve as Game of the Year 2011, believe it....

Cheers...

Ya ya, don't leave your character alone during online mode. Your character will get kill by invaders, just like my experience, lol.

Just finished the game for the first time 2 days ago. One of the best games I ever played! Now I hardly have any interest for other games... sad.gif

You may try other character type or re-explore again in NG+. I finished with Warrior character, so now I try with Mage build... Else you may try SKYRIM, abit different type of experience but the visual is eye candy....smile.gif

Try summon Knight Solaire and re-startegize which boss to kill 1st..., think defeat the thin one would be easier, just my 2cents... lol

The DLC is 1200msp on US live. Asia still don't have so I bought the Prepare To Die edition disc version. Luckily my last save met the requirements to access the DLC almost immediately.

It feels like playing Dark Souls for the first time again with unknown areas to explore...
*
Bro, mind telling me where you bought the disc version and price? Might consider to get one instead of DLC. Thanks
