Im getting more and more excited on each area I have completed. This game is so complex and really worth invest no matter time or money....!  But Im abit kelam-kabut on which area to clear 1st, because this game doesn't restrict player to venture which area as priority. Really worth every penny... hahah

Now dunno where to go, dragon is there, underworld got ghost cant hit them. Arh!!!!

I managed to defeat Black Knight, but I noticed my damage to Havel Rock quite low i.e. 32+ only. With such damage, guess I might backstab till my hand tire also can't defeat him. Perhaps shall I raise my level higher?

Haha I had similar problem before, gone through hell, dying lots of time to get to the end of an area, only to realise that the way was block because I didnt have something required to unlock the area haih. But true enough, this game is so addicting and satisfying to play  .

is this the Guy that jaga the gate to the forest area? defeat that guy with lvl15 and a club. this one still ok. black Knight now want to try kill him with parry but...

he din make sound when attack so harder to predict la. got the big sword. start with lettet z one at the skeleton area buy no use. haih now dunno where to explore.

The graphics in Undead Burg-Lower Section is just so gorgeous..., the visual is getting better and better when we explore further. Never know that this game was developed by Japanese! No wonder the game play is so solid, hahah....  If you are playing in home theater system, you can even hear or feel the enemy is closing you, the sound effect is awesome too, what a great game...  Really long time never stick to any games for such long hours...

Frankly speaking, if without any guide or reference, can't imagine how many times we die to fully explore an area. However I managed to download "Dark Souls Official Guide" in pdf format which I was about to order thru online earlier. The most important is it has full map for all areas, so in short, prepare to Die Less.... 

I prefer no map to explore and exploit my own. now I still thinking which version to buy since I borrow this one. still thinking how to kill that black knight though I got the ring already he jaga.

Definitely go for Xbox version if you prefer better graphics stability, higher res and less stuttering visual during online play as commented by PS3 forum. Almost 80% multi-platform games look and run better in Xbox... I was in dilemma before when choosing which version to go, but ended up in Xbox version.

was thinking bout it too. but very expensive play 360 need to pay live. haih. got headset for 360? can't turn volume too high so tod want to enjoy the music and the scary sound using headset. the other plus side with 360 cos bigger controller. easier to parry compare to almost no feel ps3 L2 R2 button.

now at the tower where the black knight with great sword swing at me. Still figuring out how to beat him early early. LOL...

Just buy about 30 firebombs, lure him down from tower then keep throwing firebomb at him will do. Lure him down to an open area e.g: bonfire down stair. So no complicated skill to dodge his attack... 

Firebomb = 50 souls/pc

haha try to melee him like the previous 2 black Knight. if really can't kill him with few more attempt then just skip and explore new place. kill the pig and get humanity. can explain abit bout humanity?

humanity basically opens up multiplayer options, increases drop rates of the good stuff from mobs and allows you to kindle fireplaces(to increase the number of estus flasks by 5) after you have reversed hollowing.
