changing all this bit by bit must be getting expensive.... should have just gone with a brand new ogura and get everything done 1 shot hahahahhahaha

know of any solutions of the clutch pump pecah issue with racing clutches? havent found any... currently using jasma clutch pump... seems to be holding up well enough with my exedy 4puck.... ex-owners used it with ogura for awhile n no issues oso.

im actually quite curious about the DnD twin plate clutch... avantech using it successfully in their 5xxwhp track car monster... and theyre pretty cheap... especially when compared to ogura and OS
*
change bit by bit as maintaince la, car is old lol. I will never go for singles like ogura

as to clutch pump pecah
lol. i think that one is due to owner la. so far no issues at all. even mine is not pecah, just the seals worn out after 15+ years (clutch pump was the ori one came with my halfcut.) replaced it with new because it was cheap.

why i avoid racing clutches is because daily use lah. I don't like racing clutches. if want high clamp loads, go with twin plate. I have no idea why people want a clutch that doesn't engage smoothly. Heck i totally avoid driving any car with racing clutch nowdays.

my dream clutch is probably the os twin plate, but later la.. if this car can last.

the DdD twin plate you can try i think. prolly at least go balance it at least to ensure its not going to vibrate the hellout of your crank and the crank bearings.

so anyone have good suggestion where to get a good carbon fiber hood?
*
pentagon bring in ori J's racing hood.

seibon is self order from US.

Varis, last time order from samurai racing before the shop existed. His old place was at old klang road.

car engine overheat last week. radiator hose pecah. radiator tank kosong. all coolant gone thats why temperature shoot up! sad.gif

change new hose and everything went back to normal. but when i check engine oil it become lower than normal. maybe oil burn the time overheating.
*
if overheat that bad, you have a warped head. need to skim and reinstall.

get higher compression whike repair.

radiator hose pecah? it must be swollen a whike already. I replaced mine twice in 8 years (my pomen always give me halfcut one, and I don't use silicone hoses because I like the stock black hoses. easy to troubleshoot because they collapse easily when got blockage

thats why once in a while must look under the hood.

Wow, been away a while since my parts were slow to arrive, and suddenly this thread is lively again..

I had to special order some parts because local distributor doesn't stock them.
Finally arrived just after raya...

Strangely the superpro boxes and labels aren't the same as the normal rubber types.. hmmm?
new packaging? or do these premium versions don't get the same treatment.

finally going full sphericals. (except rear lower arm, which I have to convert to USDM arms... but I am not going to, because changing my coilovers is not something I plan to do.

I wonder what they mean by "For off road use only"...? Means I can use my car for rally ah? laugh.gif
Total of this + 500 I can buy AP Racing Pro 5000+ calipers lol. But first things first.. dealing with the suspension. Brakes will come later.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Upper arm bush, finally I can ditch the old skunk2 uppers I've been using.. They're good, but only for a year's plus of harsh driving. I like hardrace one because they have the TPV boots. My rear trailing arm bushes are still not loose after a year plus.. well.. I think it'll wear quick once the TPV boots tears. Here's hoping they don't for a year plus more.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Rear camber kit, pillowball/spherical edition. The TPV boots makes them look like normal rubber bush camber kits.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Catch can is unusable, after repeated testing, my engine needs two AN10 PCV purges, one is not enough, the gas leaks through the AN threads, can see my valve cover wet with oil vapor after revving past vtec. RM150 if anyone is interested. Will be customing an oil catch can. J's cromoly lugnuts, because I swap wheels quite often, so I'm forgoing aluminium nuts for lastability and practicality.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Rear toe control arms. Finally, I debated buying this, but what the heck.. full spericals.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

other shit that I ordered, harder springs (goodbye street car status), and superpro stuff for the rear anti-roll and lower arms, rubber seals etc.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

My older used front compliance bush (I replaced with superpros). Anyone is interested in these? RM150 too,

where u order ur superpro and hardrace bushing?
*
rs one and hokomoto... the spherical and superpro options are not cheap. front lower arm only is already 650. if sperical, closer to 1k.

can buy a halfcut with the amount I spent on the suspension. You have been warned.

i go this method because this car is not going to be daily use anymore.

the hardrace rubber bushes are good enough for normal users. .

just get the ori front compliance bush enough.

my car many sound already.
suspect is bushing and ball joints.

steering free play also a lot. is it tie rod end? or steering rack?  hmm.gif
*
tie rod is easy to check, just jack up the front and wiggle the front tires, they should have NO FREE PLAY.

if no free play, but bush and tie rod checks out okay, then it's the steering rack

*
yes, mine is even worse, I accelerate the fuel gauge drops by 1/4 ahaha

Hi guys,

Sorry if my post is out of topic, just need a quick and useful tips and advise from all of you  blush.gif ... .
FYI, I'm planning to buy a civic in which particularly HONDA CIVIC 2.0 TYPE R (recon) and as far that i'm concern the price range  is between 155k (2008 - year made) -180k (2010 - year made)  blush.gif

So, can anyone here please give me some opinion and advise on how am i gonna make a decision, which car should i choose?  hmm.gif
p/s: sorry for my broken english, just couldn't find the right words/sentence to describe how desperate i am to choose and have the CIVIC 2.0 TYPE R after all these years  notworthy.gif
*
If you plan to resell the car later, always get the later year, but check that the condition is good enough for its age.

If you plan to keep the car, then always get the better deal of older cars, and find those immaculate ones that the owner rarely drives. It will be nice, but the resale later will be hell.

Been a hectic work month. Haven't even touched my old EG.

Next on the upgrade list, new wheels.. now still shopping for them, looking for 17" FD1/EP3 wheels. Also converted to ARP extended studs so I can use some 5-6mm spacers.

ooo....it just says that is it? i would have gone for dc2-r shifter, linkage and gear knob with uprated bushings...

type r is slightly ligter than stock b16... but the clutch n pressure plate is the same..

usually those that come with branded (toda/spoon/exedy etc) flywheel (which is lighter than type r) comes with Exedy Stage 1 semi race clutch biggrin.gif
*
i weighted both unit. 6.xkg for type r and 7.xkg for stock

spacers madman, because +50 offset looks stupid on eg and if i full lock, i cannot move lol
