QUOTE(geniuz @ Dec 3 2013, 10:32 PM) Hi bro EvOliver.... I heard Peugeot uses a lot of proprietary screws, nuts and bolts which require proprietary tools/ranches. This actually makes the car harder for general mechanics to deal with. If you decided to NOT go to the Peugeot service centre for certain repairs, you will then have to search for mechanics/workshop who have the proprietary tools to serve Peugeot car. Since I travel a lot roughly 3k - 4k km a month sure i want my car as follows: i. Fuel efficient ii. Low maintenance cost iii. Better ride and handling iv. Got power when want to overtake at high speed v. Safety vi. High resale value perhaps vii. Still thinking what to add So Cerato i have dropped from my list but replace it with 408T and makes me hard to choose between civic 2.0 and 408T. I already test both car and 408T is more to my liking but worried bout RV and maintenance cost. Any advice from u or other sifu here? Apprecited all imput here. Thanks This is what I heard. I may be wrong. I even heard that many assemblies in Peugeot are harder (more complicated) to disassemble than other brands. Meaning to take more time. I'm not sure if they've improved for new models. Not sure if anyone familiar with Peugeot can help comment. |

Ok, this is just based on my short drive of the FD 1.8L and 2.0LWondering if there's a significant difference in power going to the 2.0 The driving feeling, the difference in power is significant... But you should try it yourself. Another thing you might wanna consider is that if you intend to go aftermarket modifications later (like me |

But you should try it yourself. Another thing you might wanna consider is that if you intend to go aftermarket modifications later (like me *hopefully* i wont feel like modding anything, the plan is to get this for a few years until my earning power goes up |

1.8 sure have better resell value but damn tin kosong spec compare to hibrid. Only the multilink rear suspension be better compare to hybrid. Do share some of the pro and con with the 1.8L civic if you come across any.Help.... |

Actually me too when deciding... But I just got decide to get 1.8.. =) when i look at the maintenance cost between hybrid and 1.8, then you can make a better consideration.
By the way, the only thing make me consider hybrid is cause of the smart key enter. But think wisely, it depends on your personal need too... Bro leather can be change.. ;-) I decide to get 1.8 cause of power... I request more power on my car... hehe |

Next year onwards civic hybrid still under tax exemption?
I think it's better to get hybrid than 1.8L. Its either hybrid or 2.0L for civic line-up from my pov. |
