Wow RE002 I think among expensive tyre why not try TOYO T1R (new 2012 and made in JAPAN) price
205/40/17 84W RM385 or 205/45/17 88W RM405 or 215/45/17 91W RM413. Performance I think nearly same but Toyo more comfort. Other better performance & comfort is Goodyear’s new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. Anyway RE001 among the best performance tyre but don't know about new RE002.

Cheapest price you get I think, normally I just bought the tyre from them & fix it at other shop, cheaper RM8-RM10 each.

Toyo T1R & C1S very good performance tyre may be same quality with Michelin PS3, other good tyre Conti MaxContact/PremiumContact 5. I'm looking for Conti EcoContact but not available in Malaysia.

Not really know about Michelin XM2 coz my friend used XM1 said not really good. He convert to Michelin PS3, loyal Michelin user. Now he very proud PS3 user. Michelin PS3 195/55/15 only RM255 at Hin Leong Klang. I think XM2 should be cheaper than that coz PS3 consider Michelin High End.

For fuel efficient & performance just find light weight rim like Enkei & etc with fuel efficient tyre. Most people upgrade to 15" with 195/50/15 or 195/55/15 coz still comfort & many tyre option & cheaper too(cost efficient). Myvi can fit with 17"(maximum) but suffer with comfort & high tyre price(not many tyre option).

195/55/15 still comfort & not much different with 195/60/15, 205/55/15 much better if you can find good tyre. Don't go to 195/50/15 look like too small compare with 195/60/15.

You already using Michelin why not try Michelin PS3 or other good performance, comfort & low noise Yoko CDrive2 or Toyo C1S/T1R or cheapest Neuton NT8000/5000(a bit bounchy for first 1000 km).

Neuton NT8000/5000, 225/55/17 price around RM250 per donut at Hin Leong klang. Good comfort & performance.

All tyre had 4 no print at surface for example 1412 meaning manufactured around April 2012(14 meaning 14th week & 12 meaning year 2012). Better you ask the shop about it before install, coz my friend super bike owner just bought rear Pirelli at RM1+k but when we check the tyre had 2210 code no meaning manufactured around June 2010, 2 years old tyre.

My friend upgrade his Innova tyre from 195/65/15 to 205/65/15, he choose Yokohama CDrive2 coz Michelin PS3 expensive.

Supposed you just bought the tyre there & fix it at other shop, faster & cheaper. Can get cheaper price if fix it outside. Just make sure the tyre produce this year.

Personally I think they overcharged me as the price recommendation for the tyres as stated in the 1st page is only RM160/each.

You already feel it overcharged, for sure the price higher than normal coz normally balancing & labour free of charge, alignment charge around RM15 at my area/Klang.

Anyway, Yoko ADrive consider good tyre for small car coz not many option for that size, other good choice may be Continental Comfort5.

Normally they only charge Tyre price & alignment fee. Free balancing & no extra labour charge, much better some shop give free nitrogen gas.

Goodyear F1 A2 better for standard size/big saloon car/mpv & not really recommended with small compact car, coz it soft sidewall make small car feel like tyre not touching road in high speed, actually the performance still excellent. F1 A2 215/45/17 only RM450 at Ban Hooi klang, if your rim 7.5" wide better upgrade to 225/45/17 for better cornering grip. D5 consider 80% performance compare with F1 A2. F1 A2 around same performance with Michelin Super Sport(expensive & not really comfort) & Continental SportContact 5(expensive & very fast wear).

Not really good tyre, Preve & Exora CFE oem tyre. I replace it with Neuton tyre, feel much better grip & performance.

Ops! sorry not really look at the model coz just change it after one day used. Now Indonesia made tyre already upgrade the quality & may be can compete with Thailand made.

Most shop in my area accept trade-in for new set tyre & rim, I changed it at Hin Leong Klang. I heard Rawang shop give better/higher price for trade-in but too far from my place.

If small/compact car can used both NT8000 or NT5000 but for standard salon/MPV choose NT5000, different in wet grip.

What size you use? May be will feel small bumpy ride at uneven road for first 1k km.

Neuton NT5000/8000, cheap & above average performance tyre. Other cheapo & good tyre to try ATR Sport 2.
