sounds great!

any others cheaper choices?
*
Cheaper & good but not as special thumbup.gif as Goodyear Asymmetric2 or Conti CSC3/5 or Michelin Super Sport, can try Nexen N8000(soft) or Neuton NT8000, around RM300+-. Other medium range & price such as Yoko Cdrive2, Conti CC5, Maxxis Ipro & many more.

Thanks bro for ur recommendation...i juz settle down with Goodyear Eagle F1 asymetric 2 215/45/17 size, price at RM450 per pc at USJ Quick Save include balancing and alignment.

It's really very much quieter compare my earlier original dunlop SP LM 703. as for biting ground and cornering..yet to test out...will comment in tyre review later on...
*
Refer above buyer! That is the price on mid June 2012, may be now difference & also how we nego. Ban Hooi will inform higher price but after some nego still below RM500, hehehe brows.gif

are you sure about this price?

17 inches GD F1A2 below rm500?
*
Are you interested! Very good tyre at reasonable price compare with PS3. I also shocked last time coz CSC3/5 & Michelin Super Sport very expensive Compare with GD F1 A2 but nearly same high performance.

If not mistaken Original Myvi 14" rim use 175/65/14 tyre refer: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2106488/all

I recommend you put 185/60/14 for better grip with good tyre, try ask the seller here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=947105&hl=

perhaps C.Drive2 then... hmm.gif
*
CC5 & CDrive2, both good grip, comfort & silent tyre. May be CC5 too soft & fast wear. Other choice latest Nexen Nblue HD also good soft tyre like its big brother Nexen N8000(nearly Michelin PS3 level). Soft tyre at light car still can last 2 years.

Anyone tried achilles atr sport 2?
*
Not yet launch in Malaysia but I heard can order now, may be available next month. I saw the tread design better than previous (Potenza RE750 clone). Hopefully the overall performance also improve.

Hi guys, good day.

I need an urgent help here. Due to my busy schedule, Im not able to change my car tyre in KL.

Is there a good tyre shop in Ipoh since ill be there this weekend? Thanks!
*
Why not stop at Rawang? Many shop around that area & reasonable price too. Change tyre normally took around 30 minute. Anyway at Ipoh you can call them first to confirm tyre price, coz not as cheap as Rawang. They also not keep many brand & size. I also from Ipoh but bought tyre at Rawang/Klang/KL.

Tyre shop at Ipoh:

My tire size is 185/55/16 (Honda City). I was quoted RM290 for Goodyear Excelence, RM235 for Continental and RM300 for Michelin XM2 & Falken ZE912.

Havent decide which one to get. smile.gif
*
Goodyear Excelence, Michelin XM2 & Falken ZE912 not recommended. What Conti model? If CC5 good but too soft & better if Conti MaxContact5 & Premium5, ContiSport don't produce that size. Other choices Yoko CDrive2 or Nexen Nblue HD or Michelin PS3 & etc. Comfort & very good grip dry/wet.

Could you car support 195/55/16 or 195/50/16 or 205/50/16, more tyre choices & still comfort. Wider tyre good for more grip & cornering but make sure still in within 3% overall diameter.

Wider tyres are good for dry handling, narrower ones for wet handling (not so much surface that can make the car float).
*
Wet grip not really coz of narrow/wide type but really depend on tyre type & quality. Most Asymmetric design tread give superior wet grip, hard tyre worst for wet grip. I'm really feel afraid when see car with narrow/small tyre take cornering during wet condition at high speed. It just me! sweat.gif

Where can get cheap 215/45 R17 Michelin Pilot Preceda ?
*
Cheaper & superior choice can try Goodyear Asymmetric 2 at RM450 or ContiSport 5(not cheap). Both better than PS3 & equal with highest Michelin Super Sport or the best Pirelli & other top tyre. biggrin.gif

is there any 175/50R15 available for xm2?
*
If your car can support 195/50/15, easier to find good & cheap tyre like Yoko Cdrive2 or Neuton NT8000(I test/used now) or PS3(not really cheap) or CC5 or Toyo Proxes or Nexen NBlue HD or Achilles ATR & many more.

Anyone can review Toyo R888 tyre wear level?

Tyre botack dry grip stronger
But traffic/jpj sure cari pasal one...
*
Toyo Proxes R888 excellent track tyre during dry but average in wet grip, need slow down during wet.
Track tyre hotter better also not comfort & noisy for everyday use. Daily use Toyo produce T1R very good grip in Dry & Wet. Normally Toyo tyre fast wear anyway I like the thread design.

just want to check any shop can provide reasonable price and provide more option for the rim? I just wondering trade in my 14inch tyre and upgrade to 15inch rim and type....anyone can introduce? Shop prefer in klang valley....
*
In my expereinced most Rawang Tyre shop offer higher trade-in price for rim/tyre. You can survey the price & search your favourite rim there. Try at GTK or TMK or other tyre shop there. Can refer the location here: http://maps.google.com.my/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Hin Leong, Klang also had many rim choices but the price & trade-in not as good as Rawang shop. Id want to deal at Hin Leong don't asked trade-in price first but first ask the new rim & new tyre price. icon_idea.gif
