want to ask sifus here which tyre is ok for my perodua viva? on budget now. ask around Goodyear is kinda expensive RM170. One shop mechanic told me Dunlop is as good as Goodyear because Goodyear only name famous selling for RM125.
Falken i read in forum here wear out pretty fast in few months time price RM130. Kinda love Goodyear since it last me 3 years/30k mileage. Silverstone and Sime is the brand to avoid i just read. There's another brand i haven't heard of H15 or something that cost RM125 even the taxi driver at the shop recommends. Hehe, first time replacing my tyres so kinda blur blur here. Thanks in advance for the comment |

i'm currently using SIME ASTAR 300 2pcs for front as my budget quite tight at the time of purchased...RM470 for 2pcs tyres including alignment and balancing...so far still ok...not that bad...can take fast corner too (but maybe my adjustable contribute some stability)....not too silent but not to noisy...always travel from Seri Gombak to Kuala Rompin via Seremban/Kuala Pilah/Jempol/Muadzam Shah...so far the thickness still good...not so fast wear...if got some budget, gonna put this tyre for rear and get a new pair for front...but maybe a better tyre...hehe....for budget tight, this tyre can do well for the $$$ burned...but perhaps Maxxis is better than this...Dunlop D01 is worst than Sime Astar 300! forgot to mention that i'm running on 215/45/17...

Hi,
Would like to get some advice from sifus here. My car (Gen-2 CPS), one of the its rim has been damaged (uneven cover on the tyre), which cause its tyre pressure keep on dropping overtime. about 2kpi/day. Since it is stock rim and stock tyre (almost 4yrs usage, almost 5 yrs from production date, it does consider old right?), I am thinking to change all 4 rims and the tyres as well. Should i? Can i change to the 16"? any setback if i do this way? Any suggestion/input on my above issue would be greatly appreciated. (rim, tyres, shop recommendation, etc.) Thanks. |

Anyone knows where to get BS re002 195/50/15 besides in klang where they don't butcher you and don't handle your rims roughly?
