a drive is quiet or cc5 more quiet?
i'm looking for a durable and quiet tyre. right now the stock alza 185/55R15 silverstone m5 sucks. different  road surface of malaysia always play music until i get so frustrated.
*
Durability and quietness are somewhat contradictory to each other.
Durable tires are usually made of harder compound and hence noisier on the road.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yoko A Drive has got quite some good comments. Economical & good.
If got extra $$, go for bridgestone or michelin.

If I stick to manufacturing recommendation 185/55R15 then I can only use Michelin XM2. I went to Michelin's website, XM2 is for:-
- better mileage
- fuel saving (of course la, better mileage mar)
- safety

It says nothing about quiet, only Primacy LC is stated as quiet. How noisy is XM2? How to decide?
*
Michelin = quality, I think very few people would question its noise/quietness.

Bro ernest0205, I find that many tyre shops have very limited choices of 175/70r13. I look for MichelinXM1 / Yokohama A Drive / Continental, but they only sell Silverstone, Sime Tayar, Good Year etc...how disappointing...

Recently need to change old tyre 185/60/R14 and consider Yokohama CD2 and Good Year Duraplus. Could any forum members give some advices which one is better?
*
Duraplus
+ Durable
- Noisy
- Less grip

Yoko C-Drive
+ Quiet (relatively)
+ More grip
- Wear faster (due to soft compound)

I used SimeTires Astar before, I must say it was very durable, thread still >50% even after clocked 20,000km. But it was noisy and could go aquaplane during heavy rain at only 90 km/h (compared to Goodyear Ducaro GA and Yokohama A Drive).
