It's the silly honeycomb i think. I've encountered 'no service' after almost everyday. Usually on the evening or at night after the phone hasn't been turned off for quite sometime.

Can you give me the link on how to update ICS via flashing? What are the procedures?

Usually i don't bother to do any root/CM9 or anything other than official from samsung. but, i'm dying to use ICS here ! haha

alright, i am successcully rooted. thanks acbc!

a few question :
1. i only did all acbc step and nothing more. so, my ics currently is considered rooted or not rooted?
2. i can happily remove the sd card right? (i wasn't using sdcard before this, only inserted it last night for my honeycomb rooting.

li see. thanks to both of you . it means that my current ics is not a rooted.

my tab is doing awesome with this new ics! there is only one problem, i think whatsapp isn't so compatible with this ics i guess. it fc once when receiving image and it can't put the shortcut to any conversation at home screen. i mean, the function is there but when i clicked create shortcut to conversation, nothing happens.

other than that it's all awesome ! i'm enjoying every moment with this ics

I have now successfully flashed to ICS. I havn't done the ICS root yet and i don't plan to. So, if i uninstall/remove the following applications that i used to flash to ICS from HC, will the ICS on my tab currently run smoothly?

1. Mobile ODIN Lite
2. Superuser
3. BusyBox Free

Or since i'm using a flashed ICS i need to keep them?

Do what edan1979 said. i had that same problem back in HC when i tried to connect to the sucky wifi at my uni. While at home, it worked perfectly .

Hello hello. I just got my keyboard dock. I'm loving it! The tab plus feels like a different machine with keyboard dock+ICS. This is the best raya gift from samsung for me

anyway guys, do any of you how much to completely change the casing/body/cover or whatever it is called. i havn't been using my tab with any cover and the body is full of scratch although the screen is fine coz the scratches only occur on the screen protector.

i'm thinking of giving my tab a full reborn with the new body. i forgot to ask the samsung guy at the gardens today . does anyone know the price?

Guys, i'm curious to know what are the differences between Austria ICS update and our official Malaysia ICS update?

The requirement to do cache wipeout and etc since i am now using Austria ICS before i can do official malaysia update is too much of a hassle for me since i am happy with this version currently.

That's great ! I've tested the JB on S3 and Note (Rooted/Hacked). It's just awesome. Can't wait to have it for our Tab Plus.

Once the Tab 2 version is out i'm pretty sure those in XDA will start porting it for Tab Plus .

Yeap, i saw it at Tab Plus section . I'm keeping my eyes on it until I'm sure it will not affecting my Tab that much I'll install CM10. I'm using this drvice as my main and only phone. It will not be good if the ROM keeps on crashing here and there. Hahaha

Hello guys, bad news. Dropped my P6200 screen first and broke the screen glass. Now the screen is still functioning.

Anyway, good news is i can finally visit samsung to replace the screen AND the housing as well.

Is there anyone know how much for the following item ?
1. screen
2. housing

Do you think i should revert back to Honeycomb ? I am now using UNROOTED AUSTRIA ICS ROM. Obviously when things like this happen i can't claim the warranty and i don't intend to. I'm just afraid that they charge me higher if i send them with different ROM like that.
