QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 4 2011, 05:39 PM) Sure, google for the old navigation enabled Onwhere versions, install, and detach Maps from market using TB (to prevent upgrades). my old ipod touch can jump 20% to 40% by just opening it and leave it there for awhile Or you can turn off AGPS (Use Wireless Networks under location settings), seems to help but will increase initial GPS lock time by a lot. On my side, went to sleep with 5% left on the momax (yes, five percent, told you we got no electricity here), woke up and suddenly it was 15%. Kinetic self-charging? I know it's just the Samsung battery logger being a total idiot with ex-cap batteries, but it was funneh nonetheless. |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 4 2011, 08:47 PM) What's your heat like when that happens? Above 70-80 I have similar problems with bluetooth. I was in an air conditioned room, with nothing running except internet. temperature was abt 30+ degrees celcius. i also notice that when the batt is below 50%,the batt logger goes crazy, like after i rebooted batt dropped from 40%+ to 20%How did I get to that point? I was using my SGS2 as a web radio streamer + bluetooth + googlemaps + GPS + full brightness locked + sun shining onto it without any shade + no UC/UV to minimize heat. Safe to say it wasn't a smart move. This post has been edited by TheLaptopDudeGuy: Oct 4 2011, 09:16 PM |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Oct 5 2011, 10:52 AM) Seriously, you guys ACTUALLY use voice commands? I ONLY use it in Translator, and even when I DO use it I tend to prefer Google's own voice recog vs Vlingo's. Even then recog rate is about what, 50-60% at best. I never used voice commands b4 to do real life tasks,i only use it when i wanna show off to my frens In all seriousness, I wonder if Siri's gonna be any better. Later apple gonna call this siri "revolutionary" just like what they called facetime |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 5 2011, 12:25 PM) Their brains been bought by Steve Jobs already. For them Jobs is God and fruity is their religion ~~lol~~ not all apple fans are ifags, some are not like ifags that worship jobs. i used to be an apple fan(ex ipong user), but i never idolised jobs. when facetime was released, i just shrugged it off as it was nothing big, as video chat has been arnd for AGES. not trying to defend those ifags, but just trying to say that not all apple users are ifags |
