Your TV cabinet got a dark wall board so black cables can disappear into the surrounding

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a Bosch Cordless Impact Driver GDR 1440-LI. I'm not sure if its a good tool to have around the house for basic DIY like assembling furniture, loosening and tightening screws and drilling holes in wood, concrete and bricks.

I chose this power tool cause of its high torque and low price. Is this a wise choice?

Any advice?

How much is it? Can it be cheaper than this model -

Erm... I dunno.

Which one can screw and drill into wood and concrete? Also for basic loosening and tightening screw.

Important thing is can screw/drill into concrete. Planning to put up some shelves.
*
Oh I thought you wanted a driver.
What you need is rotary drill for concrete

Thanks for the info!
So, just to know... the GDR 1440-LI, does it have hammering? Here's the specs I found;

Max. Torque 130 Nm
Bolting capacity M4 - M14 standard bolt
No-load speed 0 - 2900 rpm
Impact rate 0 - 3200 bpm
Battery voltage/capacity 14,4 V / 1.3 Ah
Tool holder 6.35mm Hex
Charging time 60min
Dimension (length x height)   153mm x 231mm

Is that impact rate that hammering function you're talking about?
Ok, Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll get a basic one 1st before getting rotary drill.

What do you think of the GDR 1440-LI? Good Investment?

For Rm430 you can add another rm100 can get a rotary already. Cordless drill concrete better forget it. Even those plug in hammer drill also takes forever for one hole. Don't waste your money. Drill until your hand painful also cannot finish one hole LOL

oh, it's used.  actually, more like refurbished units.  so the shop no give warranty.

brand new makita / bosch where got so cheap.

(just to share my point is that i just learned some heavier jobs i find hammer drill can do it easily.  biggrin.gif  no need susah payah dgn impact drill.)
*
i would rather get the used refurbished makita if I were you
it will probably outlast the no-name brand

anyway thats what I said too....impact drill is a waste of time.....go straight to rotary even if you only gonna drill a few holes. that few holes is enough to kill your mood to continue the DIY

Or rent it out for some fee.

Or advertise here, "general worker specialist hole drilling service". Definitely good business.  tongue.gif

It will fit few drill bit,  if you need bigger/smaller holes,  need different size, most big hw shop have it. Or get it from ikea,  they have few size in a set.

I do have different size wall plugs but I was wondering about those use by contractors, the ones you see in the pic I posted. I was wondering if it fits only one size screws? Thanks 👍🏻
