true those diy tools need a lot of time to built and fine tune, if its affordable from taobao why not.

Im in Taiping perak, the chainsaw mill is at my previous employee's house, havent seen it in about 2 years already.
I should take it back soon, just need to find some storage space at home.

If you ever come by Taiping, i can show you my mill, I saw hole bunch of youtube vids, and design the slightly modified mill myself (usually they have 2 rails to adjust depth, mine has 4 which provide very accurate and stable saw, this was to compensate the amateur welding skills)
I did it as a hobby back then, still have a bunch of wood sitting in the shed left unprocess after milling.

That day bought the planer during Bosch warehouse sale without knowing what I will use it for.
Now I discover the size of the planer just nice to cleanup the dirty pallet wood I dismantle from pallets.

wow you sure know your wood, i have minimal experience in finishing wood, most of my wood is still left unprocessed in the storage shed.
Danish oils is just premix stuff, usually tung/linseed with other vanish etc...
I saw 100% pure tung and linseed on taobao, last time i checked was not able to find any in malaysia.

wow 1k+, thats expensive, well thats what professional specialty tools cost, it will save a lot of time too.

i thought it was just a angle grinder with special attachment.
Im sure i saw somewhere you can buy that special attachment and attach your grinder for a cheap alternative.

coz im cheap.
i would just use my router with side guide or router table, and make a grove, need to find a small bit tho. use normal thin wood/small cube rods as biscuits.

I'm eyeing the Skil bench, but it does seem a bit small. Never used one before, so don't know if my perception is right. Mainly aiming for minor woodworking, will a bench around 22" x 26" suffice? Being honest, I don't really know how to use one haha

After reading some info online, seems like this is not really Tung oil.

I went to bought some tung oil from craftivi, BLO from ACE.
Later can so a comparison on a piece of wood.

The combustion of the BLO rags is a bit scary tho.

I wonder our high humidity here will cause wood to move a lot or not.
