QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 1 2012, 11:45 PM) Nice tools. Thaught it rotate. Non ferros means not metal type. Like copper pipe. Cause it softer than steel. GI or steel pipe cannot be cut. need go find out if got blades that can cut GI pipe or not damn worth it for a multi function tool the earlier reincarnation uses batt.. cannot last long and so damn expensive... at least this one more reasonable..

QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 2 2012, 11:43 AM) For GI pipe, use the roller cutter. Easy, faster and cleaner cut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvxNFB1_AXUseems easier and also faster than using a hacksaw to saw through the pipe.. how can that be...

QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 2 2012, 11:57 AM) Plumber using this roller cutter to cut GI pipe. Nobody use hacksaw. Unless too short. I have the small 1 for copper pipe and smaller gi pipe. The cutter have a roller blade which you press against the pipe. Than roll a few round. Turn the knob to press again the roller blade to the pipe. And roll again. Till the pipe cut into 2pcs. i failed in cutting pipe will try get one seems cheap also those cutter about 30 MYR or less can cut GI.. can cut copper.. hmm can cut PVC also ?

QUOTE(Eng_Tat @ Dec 6 2012, 10:06 PM) yes bro, i think the price is resonable esp for their TeCX which can drill tru rebar steel, there is a hilti branch in tmn molek johor office. compare to bosch x5l i think hilti tecx are more worth. johor ? hmm what about klang valley ? rather not cut to rebar unless u plan to epoxy seal back.. else the rust will eat the rebar but will take like 30 years or more

hey guys any of you used.. angle grinder to cut wood before ? cause i want to perform this task "to trim the bottom of the door frame so that i can cement it up, as my door has been changed to the PVC door" and the bottom part of the door frame is wood, thus i need a way to cut the door frame eg 5 inch from the bottom so that i can replace that section with cement... to prevent it from rotting.. actually its already rotting a section already This post has been edited by JinXXX: Mar 18 2013, 11:07 PM

QUOTE(H2D @ Mar 19 2013, 02:32 PM) might as well just remove the door n get a cheap jig saw to do the job.... i think the main reason wana use angle grinder is to save cost... ? how to use jig saw... ? it can't cut through as the backed of the wood frame is the cement wall angle grinder is cause can cut fast i guess looking for cheap and easy way to cut.. the osci multi tool looks "nice" how sure how durable those blades are.. the wood cutting they all cut all those soft wood, not those hard wood where if u dont drill a hole and u hammer or screw the wood will splinter/cracked those type of hardware not sure if the blades can cut it or not

QUOTE(weikee @ Mar 29 2015, 12:44 PM) Nice toy, wonder it come with any helper/guide to cut wood. there are some youtube videos to promote the tools and also some vids with its disadvantages.. so far looks like a multipurpose tool to me.. rather than get circular saw. jig saw.. grinder for diy.. small project i think it works wonderfully well.. but for large project nothing beats specialized tools

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 29 2015, 02:16 PM) How much? the normal chuck, will only be used if u want to attached those so called.. specialized tile drilling bits.. as i've yet to come across tiles/glass drilling bits like http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Accesso...9&subCatId=1625in SDS format, never really used SDS bits in drilling mode - hammer to drill tiles.. does it perform better ?

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 29 2015, 02:50 PM) Saw some tiles bit in ACE. Sds chuck not accurate for precise drilling. Got to change to jaw chuck. But jaw chuck not suitable for hammer drilling. Spoil easily. yeah i also saw at ACE.. sds chuck designed for the hammer function the jaw one for smaller sized drills bits... jaw one not design for hammer at all just drilling.. those that use it for hammer are dumb
