idoblu already replied but it doesn't have to be a "50mm equivalent".

Some people prefer wider and some people prefer longer also. A lot of folks shoot with a prime cos..

- Generally smaller and more discrete
- They're generally larger aperture so for me, that's more flexible.
- Most importantly is that shooting a fixed focal length enables you to pre-frame the shot before bringing up the camera

i was watching erickim with his street photography documentary in youtube, well... sounds interesting. but what is you guys opinion by having bulky DSLR compared to Mirrorless in shooting streets?

In general, most people will run at the sight of big camera/lens pointing at them. I'm one of them. tongue.gif I wish digital range finders are cheaper. Or those olden days of SLR which are smaller.
