I didn't participate anything for the government transactions and I didn't get online promo (I think I should be getting it), so I will think yours is the government spending.

Long story short,

I lost my wallet in Japan last week (Malaysian living in Japan), and found my wallet the next day in police station but my cash has been stolen. My 3 Malaysian debit cards (Maybank, Public Bank, HSBC) are still there in my wallet.

I have checked online, no transaction is being made on my 3 debit cards. But I am afraid that the criminal took picture of my card and use it for online purchase in the future.

My questions :

I haven't report card lost or anything to the banks, but If I report card lost to those 3 banks now,

1) Will they ship a new one to my home address in Malaysia instantly? I wonder will they reissue new one to me since I don't live in Malaysia at the moment.

2) Is my bank account number still same? (the one people bank in to. I am sure the 16 digit number, CCV, and expiry date are different)

3) What will happen to my bank balance. I assume if the bank account number is still same, my bank balance will be the same, just different log in ID and password. Correct me if I am wrong. (Anyway I have moved those bank balance to another account so even if criminal wants to use also can't at the moment. Only left RM100+ in Public Bank)

2. PB visa debit usage

Just wanna check if i register the latest promo, the previous promo will be voided? anyone has experience on this?

I did call up customer service, and was told that both of them will go concurrently. However, in t&c telling otherwise but abit vague on the sentences.

Should have check out my old SA passbook account fees and charges. Previously just have the passbook without ATM card, recently apply the card so to register CIMB Clicks and now hit with that RM15.00.

Just wondering did any /K did the following; apply a new account through the CIMB Clicks then transfer the old fund to new account and close the old account but retaining the CIMB Clicks??

any other banks can apply account online?

I think applying online only applicable for several branch. Not all CIMB branch able to do this.

But not sure about using CIMB Clicks for account opening.
