Hi anyone, somebody got use the Affinbank?

Currently I am holding a Basic Saving account without annual fee with ATM card. This Affinbank ATM card physical extremely ugly and cannot simply swipe at any outlet unless have "MEPS".
So let's say I change to Affin Debit Card, any charges or annual fee or not? Is it don't have annual fee too bcoz I use the Basic Saving account without annual fee?

Debit cards need change to pin based payment system.... ATM cards are already pin based....whether need change depends on the policy of individual banks.

hey guys, I just replaced my maybank bank card due to the compulsory replacement through m2u. I'm just wondering if other banks also provide such service?

been to bank islam last friday morning but, it was too pack. quite a hassle..

Let me give a few scenarios:

1. I have a bsa cimb acc. I withdraw at most once a month because i use this acc as secondary saving acc, sometimes swipe at counters. So it makes sense that i opt for BSA with non fee card since paying RM0.53/withdraw is better than paying RM15.90/year with less than 12 atm withdrawals in 12 months. I can still do online banking through cimbclicks.

2. I have a bsa rhb acc. I can only opt for bsa option 2 with RM8 card because i want online banking facility. If you dont need that facility, you can choose non fee card with 8 free monthly withdrawals. Is it sufficient for you? Do you require online banking facility?

3. For mbb, you can pay 0 cent for your debit card even with normal saving acc. Got 4 free monthly withdrawals. You need to go to branch and chnage your card setting. No limitation on online banking. So no advantage on bsa for this particular feature.

For BSA, initial opening amount isnt as much as normal one. Certain banks impose minimum amount to be maintained in BSA or else, you will need to pay a certain fee where usually for normal saving acc, you can maintain min RM10 without any fee whatsoever.

Option 1 allows online banking too, if you also have other accounts or credit cards which allows you to register for rhb now....you will be able to see that bsa and add into your display list....and perform transactions...

Maybank is the only bank in Malaysia that blocks purchases from Steam, so try other banks.

Before change to new card no problem buying from steam after enable online purchase. Happen only after change. 😪😪😪

Changed my AmBank Debit card few months ago

I asked the officer, does it come with AF and she said no AF for your Debit card as it will follow your old card policy which no AF

So far I didn't see any charges for my debit card

Hmm.. Coz the cs said first year AF waive..

Called Maybank to activate my debit for e-Commerce. They activated it and asked to activate this oversea thing at their Maybank2u site but then when I wanna purchase something online (a game to be specific), the site rejected my card.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm pretty sure I put all the details correctly.

I tried to register my card at Origin, it got rejected. For Steam as well, it got rejected.

But works on Paypal..

Is it a debit card or an ATM card?
for ATM cards the deadline is 31st Dec 2017
for Debit cards the deadline is 31st Dec 2016

If use debit card for online purchase, got any additional charges or fees?

So the RM15.90 annual fee is confirmed waived for BSA ?

CIMB. Nevermind just called their call centre and they said the 15.90 annual is unavoidable even for BSA

shouldn't be, my debit card for my BSA did not incur any charges so far, got it when I open my BSA last yr

I have been saying all the time that pure ATM cards are NOT affect by this move....But some people don't believe...
